Eau - The Socratic Method
Here's a lil tune I made just now.
Maybe you can give it the "treatment" Rich...teehee.
First thing I've done since "Antithesis"
hope you like it : )
The Socratic Method by Eau
Nice intro. Pads are very nice on it. I think the kick could use some pumping up. EQing it and add some compression to make it stand out in the mix more. The piano melody and chords is nice. The arpeggio tha comes in suits the breakdown very well. Would make a good intro track...the BPM is surprising to me...a little lower and it would be a great chill out track...and not quite fast enough for the dancefloor. All in all it is good though. Just needs some more flesh to the bones.
hey mate
its seams like its been a very long time..
im enjoying. from the start it has that eau sophistication i have always loved. right from the holden and thompson rmx.
the percs are really nice and flowing. the synth sounds are faultless and i love the piano.
there is a lot of emotion in this
id love to hear a sped up version. at the mo its about 128bpm? maybe timestretch it to about 132-134..? the track is mello but would work a dream in a melodic prog set. and at 134 it would be more usable. also it will benefit from a good mastering session at the end
im looking forward to the full version in 320 if i may
i might give this a rmx if i may? im currently at a standstill with my new track. i just cant move forward with it.
great work as ive come to expect.
rich
intro ambience is nice, pads blend well with the fx..
nice panning of the lead. a bit overloaded with low freqs (and highs.. in the rythmic hihats) melody is good! nice break, arp comes in nice together with the bass.. not very dancefloor oriented.. too bad I like that
.. this another winternight biking tracks heheh
going downhill really fast with all the lights in the city and when its really really cold.. try it
its cool! literally
nice track
heavely rich influenced hehe
