Dave I just finished taking a listen and Ive got to say that its really good. The tracks all had a really good groove and the mixing was on par. It lacked a little "ummph" towards the end for my taste but all in all it was throughly enjoyable. Good job dude. Keep it up! I need to hear you spin pr0g live. I'll send you the names of some pr0g bombs so you can have some peak tracks. PM me your MSN addy.
I appreciate the feedback. I love building on what I've learned from the mix before so I'm looking forward to the next one.
Still listening carnt, 3 minutes left. Really good set!! I agree with a lot of what Joel said. Very groovy tracks, the selection made for a cruisey set with enough variety in interesting productions to keep me on a slight edge... in a relaxed way
I like it much more than the week 04 set as you know. The tracks in that one just seemed kind of weak. This is definitely housier which explains the repetative but groovy basslines, I like. Now that it's coming to an end I do feel that it's more of a lounge-type-mood setter as it didn't build an awful lot, as Joel said... but that's fine if that's what you were going for.
That's EXACTLY what I was going for, so its really cool that you got that feel from it. This is what I usually play when I'm over at Suede and its just another side of me that I love expressing.
dave, great set bro. its getting play again in my office right now. you know i love it.
WOW dave! dude im amazed! i didnt know you were made of that. bad ass transitions and the build ups on some of those tracks are boner action. Sander Kleinenberg's "My Lexicon" was one of the songs that started the whole trance thing with me back when Sasha had it on GU:013 Ibiza. That remix you through down is the shit though. This set's definitly one I can hear when driving back and forth from houston to austin or vise versa.
Rock on brotha!

hey whats that track at 16.51? that fucking song has the sickest build up ive ever heard dude! almost reminds of the build up that Andy Moor's Air For Life (Airwave Mix) has.
I'm falling in love with this song dude. Not many sets can do that.

lol u know whats funny?
some people think trance is the most boring thing on this earth, yet some songs will occur to them as decent tracks....for some odd reason.
I have a mexican friend here at school with me that even hates the word trance, or "techno". Well, here I am all excited about listening to Dave's set as soon as i get into my car this morning. I go to class and walk back to my car. This kid needed a ride to his dorm, and as always im open for that, under one condition. YOU TOUCH MY CD PLAYER, I THROW YOU FROM A BRIDGE! lol. It's trance 24/7 up in that bitch!! Well I started the set again from start, and on comes Schiller Mit Jette Von Roth - Der Tag Du Bist Erwacht (Martin Roth Remix). I turn to something that catches my attention; my friend seems to be enjoying this one. I went from volume 30+ to -10 in a matter of a second to ask him if he actually liked this song, and he says "dude turn that up again! that song is the shit!!" Long story short, I had to park at the dorm parking lot and literally go through about 5/6 into the set with this cat. I just now finished burning him a copy. It always pleases me to share this beautiful music with others.
Thanks Dave!!
Dude, that's awesome!!! Thanks for bumping the set...I have the same rule in my car now because its seems like EVERYONE brings CDs with them when they're riding with me.
I'm jamming out to that 2006 mix of My Lexicon right now at work.

ther genres is about 90:10), but the moment I see some country CD attempting to enter the precious slit on my cd player, I draw my guns
Mmmmmmm...precious slit.
I have also been bumping this mix in the car. It makes the ride to work or school more enjoyable.
Sure to record another one for February s0n!
And the Screen strikes again
WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END??
