lol i may soudn like a cheapskate but has anyone conditioned their old slipmats? my platter is starting to stop *tear.

at first i didn't like them, 'cause they are stiff, like cardboard stiffeners they use to mail vinyl. but they grew on me. they work well, and they are really durable.

the person @ guitar center, said they will soften up as they break in. if they actually softened up, i haven't noticed. you can still hurt someone if you threw it at them like a ninja star.

nice... i havnt tried to soften mine up i just bought new ones i have the esdjcp Aero Slipmats they were like $20 or something and work great...

Slipmats are the cheapest piece of equipment... If you don't even have the cash for 2 slipmats, I can't see how you could have the cash for anything else... Even if you just throw a few coins in a glass jar everyday you could have slipmats before the end of the week.
