I saw Halliwell when he was in Toronto in early 2005.. was so impressed and such a wicked set.. then when I went to Europe and saw him there.. meh, he was boring. I probably wouldn't see him again now.

Ya, not everything he does sounds good in the first place, but for sure the guy knows how to pump up a crowd. He jumps over the booth and onto the dancefloor in the last vid.

What style does this guy play? He won "best dj of the year award" in the mixmag if im not mistaking?

I am a huge fan of Eddie. I definately agree with everyone who says the vid sounds like crap/noise.

He is really fantastic to watch. His scratching is bar-none! I saw him as well at the Gov last spring and he knocked my socks off. He is so energetic, kind of goes a little nuts. He likes to be really interactive with the crowd. For his gig at the Gov they stupidly put him upstairs. He jumped out over the decks and walked on the ledge. Pretty fun to watch.

I snagged this shot before his set and the damb camera kept failing! Finally we got one! Yes I know, its a s!@!ass pic of me but I HEART Eddie!!;;;

You have to be a bit opened minded to his sound. Alot of people have said it's just noise and I can agree to an extent. I guess it's like olives in terms of the acquired taste, but once it's acquired, you're hooked for good.

I wouldn't judge him too much on his radio/studio recorded sets (although most of his essential mixes are class) because he is def a DJ you have to see live.
