What makes Livesets better is..

...hearing that crowd going fucking nutzo in the background, taking you right there with them

I'm listening to the Paul Oakenfold's '99 Essential Mixes, and that is the very definition of what I wish parties could be like again!!!

Ow hell yeah!!

Another thing I like about 'em is that livesets always carry this distinct sound in them. There's always this reverb and this reverb makes it sound way cooler than when you'd listen to a track normally. I also like the FX, like for example the Essential Mix vocals. 'Essentiaaaa' 'Essentiaaaa', KICK KICK WOOT.

Yeah, exactly that, esspecially in breakdowns hearing them whistling and screaming, arr sends shiversup and down.

I agree 100%...The best is Erick Morillo's Essential Mix live from Space, Ibiza. When he plays Red Carpet - Alright, the entiiiire crowd is singing along, it gives me goosebumps every single time.

Yeah totally agree live sets are amazing. you can just feel the vibe so much better. Lotherton Hall is very special in that respect! Also John "00" Fleming @ GKGG 2003 when he drops Carte Blanche and the crowd go nuts!!
