Problem (Recording, using cables,...)
Hello
I'm having a little problem.
I'm using:
- 2 CD-Decks chained to mixer
- 1 Mixer chained from CD-Decks to AirFX
- 1 AirFX (Fx Processor) chained from mixer Master 1 input to amplifier
When I'm recording, I cannot use the REC OUT output on my mixer, because when I put my cable (to my pc to record) in there, I don't hear the effects produced by the AirFX, because it's chained from my mixer to amplifier. But when I put the cable to record in the Phones Input on my amplifier, I hear the effects on my pc, but the sound isn't good.
Does anyone know where I should put in my cable to record (not in Phones Output) so I can hear all the effects I produce in the AirFX when I record?
I also have an Master 2 output on my mixer, maybe it can help you fixing my problem..
Thanks,
Nick
get a y connection between the fx and the amp, running on branch to the amp, the other to record. be careful on the levels though, you'll find it very easy to clip the recordings with those fx in place.
chains won't conduct very well, i would use cables instead
I solved the problem. I bought 2 cables (one for the red, one for the white output) who split in red and white. Cable of PC inserted in red output of 1 cable, and in white from the other cable. Same for cable to amp!
Thanks anyway for the answers my friends!
