what kind of trance is.....
FSOL,Crystal Method,Prodigy,Fluke, Chemical bro???is it tekno?
For the most part I would say "Big Beat" or "Break Beat".
I don't know if I'd have FSOL on the same list though...
a friend of mine told me a long while back that it was Industrial Techno...well i all can say is this groups are all classicsss....
its a type of industrial...im not sure.....im starting to like industrial...its not that bad of a genre
I say NIN and Front242 are more industrial...

Industrial Trance (psychedelic): Dark Soho, Tim Schuldt
i don't find anything industrial in Crystal Method or Prodigy or Chemical Brothers, just my opinion
Prodigy (new stuff): Breakbeats, industrial (a little), big beat and some hip hop.
Chem bros: Breakbeats, Big Beats (old), pure shite (the new stuff) 
Crystal Method: like a mix of new Prodigy and old Chem Bros. Breakbeats and Funky Breaks.
Fluke: Breakbeats, techno.
I know my breakz. 
Hmm, Prodigy would overall be calssed as some sort of techno, I woudl say that they are part of the breaks genre too.
Chems are some sor tof breaks.
Hybrid are nu-skool breaks. That I'm defiantely sure of!
i disagree with all of you....
I consider Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, Prodigy, Underworld, Fluke, etc.... its all the same genre to me. I call it.....
electronica!
I was into this stuff before trance, and all compilations, both from europe and america that i have (back when i used to buy CD's), have "electronica" written all over them.... these CD's are also found in the "electronica" section of music websites - not trance or breaks.
MTV used to have a show on late-night on the weekends called "AMP"... it was self-hailed as "...a celebration of electronica..." .... they had an AMP CD (2 of them actually)... the first one was better...

Yes it is Electronica..but that's too broad...i would consider them to be ....hmm....i think they're a mix of things....techno & industrial...and dance?? lol
