Most compatible PC Video Format
Hey, as some of you know, im seinding in a video to an art school as part of my profile, and i need to put it on a cd along with the photos of my portfolio...
What 2 ways of encoding video should i include on the cd to assure that they can play it on a PC.
I was thinking: Mpeg-2 and regular .wmv
Any other suggestions or ideas?
wmv is the most guaranteed format, provided the pc you are playing it on has a version of media player as new as or newer than the machine that did the ecoding

Im using ImTOO Dvd ripper platinum. I was using a DVD camera to film it and when i extracted the files they came out in .ifo format. I need to go through and edit it and chop out the scenes i need, so im using the ripper to extract chapters.
(On a side note: any free/shareware basic video editors?)
