Dark Trax

Are there any tracks darker than Arc In The Sky's "Kissed"?

I really love those tracks and want more like them!

Posted by RebeL9 on Jan-31-2006 11:09:

check out Oliver Prime's productions. Such as Velvet Sunshine, Da Korah and Fairychild - Lilavo Dvijenie.
Also try Nikola Gala - Light Through Darkness.

And finally. The Digital Blonde got some really dark twisted tracks coming up. Karma, Cyan and Requia are some of them. You can propably find samples on the net.

Ah, was just about to start a similar thread...

Lately I've been very addicted to Miika Kuisma and most stuff released on Joof, Oliver Prime, Sander van Doorn etc. but I really do need more of this stuff to build sets with...

You know, stuff that combines techy, psy and hard trance elements while not being any of those genres...

Do you only like Happy music? Becuase I feel the need for every type of emotional music. Be it Happy, sad, angry. I just need a style of music that suits my emotion. That way if I'm angry, sometimes I listen to Dark stuff just to build up that Rage. Then after a while, I'll switch to something like Firewall's "Sincere" and calm myself down.

John Askew - Nail Gun

I don't really listen to dark music, and neither do you. I suppose the difference is that I actually know what dark music is. Though most of the tracks are decent dark Electro, and i'm a big Electro fan. Not exactly random either, since I know how and where to find it while you don't. Juno has quite a large selection of music, if you look at it that way. You could have even posted a sample of that 'dark' Kobe Bryant track if you had looked.

I-F - The Men Who Won't Come Back

Posted by Ian on Jan-31-2006 16:21:

as mentioned before, most stuff on j00f's label complies here.

other stuff includes the 2003 releases from DJ Choose & F, tracks from the green martian alias of L-Vee, Oliver Klitzing's stuff under Reeloop, Twisters Silence, Kaylab etc

a few tracks that work

Ricky Fobis - No Regular
Ernesto vs Bastian - Who's the Starter
Damn Noa - Like a Prayer
Marco V - Indicator
Gleylancer - Cingram - exceptional

Maybe you know what 'real' dark music is, however I think the suggestions from the other people are more to do with what this guy is looking for.

Then again nobody asked for dark electro.

And you're right - I don't know, which is why I asked. You posting something that doesn't sound anything like what was requested is hardly helping.

Most of what I have is quite light and fluffy compared to that Arc in the Sky track, but see if any of these are any good:

Ayumi Hamasaki - Unite (Moogwai Dub)
Black Pearl - Baracuda
DJ Nukem vs. Chab - Wanted
Fisher Project - I Get A Rush (Moogwai vs. Chab Remix)
Paris & Sharp - Aphrodite
Roland Klinkenberg - Inner Laugh (James Holden Remix)
Shakta - Amazon (Ticon's Snorkel Story Remix)
B.B.E. - Hollywood (Kaylab Remix)
Crazy Mamalute - Free to Ride (Original Fat Tire Mix)
Michael Splint pres. Eruption - I Feel Free (DJ Choose pres. That Mucho Remix)
Hemstock & Jennings feat. John '00' Fleming pres. Genetica - The Nazarean
Conjure One - Redemption (Max Graham Dead Sea Mix)

Hmm. If i'm not mistaken, he asked "is there anything darker than this?" with no mention of genre. Then he said he wants more tracks like the one he posted. A question and a request. I chose to answer the question instead of granting his request. Am I mistaken?

Don't worry. It was either one or the other. At least you chose to answer something!

Would you grant a request of shoving a cock down your throat?
