I MUST GO!!!
My ass will be driving the 3 hours North to Mancester (It's south of Nashville) Who wants to come? OMG i'm going to finally see Radiohead and life will be happy
I am there! 3 hours drive is nothing for Radiohead and Sasha. Ben Folds is not too shabby either.
it does look rather tempting! june 16-18. i just dont want to camp out amongst all those hacky sacking patchouli wearers. also, im not really the camping type, lol. i'd go in on a hotel though.

A comfy hotel > hacky sacking, tie-dye wearng, hemp supporting, tree huggers.

WOW, I would FINALLY have a reason to wear my Tie-Dyed Rusted Root Poncho!!!! FTW!!!!!
Note: I am a closet Rusted Root fan!

I am a EDM/Hip-hop addict. With that being said, I went last year and had an AWESOME time. You dont like camping? You will. You dont like Hippies? Deal with it they have the best drugs. Bonnaroo is alot more than just music and partying, its the whole experience. You have to go to understand and once you go you'll wanna go back. They are all about providing a very diverse, but superior, musical experience. You will see so much you love and little you hate. I advise you all to buy tickets.

guys...i dunno about the whole hotel thing. from word of mouth from some of my buddies the traffic is hellish and the closest city that we could get rooms at is pretty fair. camping isn't that freaking bad. i love camping!!! i'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo freaking excited!!!

| Originally posted by The Peach i always hated camping growing up. also ive heard bonnaroo is notoriously muddy and you have to make sure sketchy ass people dont steal your shit left and right. mud + sketchies + tents + june weather = my idea of hell. it is definitely nice to see them venture from the "phish, dave matthews, allman bros" sort of line-up though. and dan, if i ever saw you hacky sack i'd definitely have to make fun of you. lovingly of course! |

Damn, its in June, I might not be able to go...
This is really a good show. Pricey, but thats to be expected... Matisyahu is really good, along with Radiohead, Ben Folds, and Sasha? Be interesting to see what kinda set he does in this environment...
Let me just say that going to Boonaroo is in experience in it self...it's something you must atleast do once in your life...I thought the same way before I went...but nobody gives a shit what you're doing there...trust me.

Dont even consider getting a hotel room. Last year I walk outside my tent, and literally, there are two other peoples "homes" right at the doorstep of mine. We cooked food together, smoked together, shared stories of the different shows we went to. It was an awesome experience. Keep your valuables in your locked car that is located about 6 inches from your tent.
The place where all the actual concerts are is seperated from where all the camping is, but only by a turnstyle and a few guys taking tickets, checking bags. Last year I was allowed to bring in enough water bottles for my crew, shirts, headphones, phones. A whole backpack full of stuff. Last year, it really was mostly jambands with the few indie/contemporary rock acts. This year i'd say its about 50/50. Go to the bonnaroo website and check out bonnaroo jukebox. Toubab Krewe is SICK! So are the greyboy allstars (sp?). Sasha is definitely gonna throw down a sick late night set. Radiohead, nuff said. If you can find one person in this line-up that your quasi interested in seeing, and have access to 200 dollars, GO.
