sasha @ bonnaroo this year....
the lineup was just announced today. bonnaroo is a good fuckin time if you want to chill out to sweet ass music for an entire weekend. HOT as HELL if you go... my friend got sun poisining lol, we actually thought she was going to die at the time... ahhh good times....
also: radiohead, tom petty & the heartbreakers, phil lesh & friends, beck, elvis costello & the imposters, bonnie raitt, moe, bright eyes, rusted root, blues traveler, tons more too, & they probablly aren't done adding. www.bonnaroo.com
wow... lol worlds collide. i guess who better to play to a chilling drugged up crowd than sasha himself. radiohead r gonna be there too..... pretty nuts!!!
lol dude you have no idea... bonnaroo is like nothing else i've ever seen before in my life!! its like a chanty town of hippies and wannabes all just havin a good time.... SOOO many people, we got there much later than most people did and becuase of it our campsite was about a two mile walk to the main stages, the whooole walk is through other campsites. i would so be going again this year, but i have finals the week after, which wouldn't work being as im at school in europe haha
i'd be interested if this was in the NY area (hence the NY forums)... but this is in Tennessee???

I really wish I knew my schedule for this. I wanted to go to Bonaroo back when I was in college and they started it. The lineup was very much like it is now, with the addition of Phish members, Dave Matthews Band, etc.
The tickets are a bit pricey, but when you figure in that you don't have to pay for hotels because you're camping, it works out. If I am free around that time, the only issue that I'd have is figuring out how to get there, because driving would take some time, but I don't know if I could fly down with all of my camping out stuff for a weekend.
Oh, and I don't have an issue with this being posted here. For one, if some people do want to go, they may go in groups since I believe the festival is in the middle of nowhere and takes forever to get in. When I saw Phish at one of these weekend shows w/camping in upstate New York, I waited in traffic from midnight until 9 AM the next morning with nobody to chat with because I was meeting friends there. The local forum is a good way to announce and to coordinate car pooling and this thread is just as relevant as people's Ibiza reviews, WMC plans, and the COR-like topics in here.
