Mysteryland
Just been viewing the video from 2003. OH MY GOD... FUCKIN AMAZING!!! The location, the atmosphere, crowd, and a stellar line up of DJ's.
I hadn't heard Michel de Hey play before I watched this vid. Bloody hell he kicks arse, amazing tunes!!! What do you reckon? Who's been? Is it better than Dance Valley? Please share any stories about your time at Mysteryland. Cheers!
Mysteryland rocks!!
in the last few years all the major festivals in holland(EDM capital of the world
) had strugles to get ticket sales going, except for mysteryland, this festival is genius shit. Whatever music you like there's probably a good dj of that genre around every year, for instance last year they had erick morillo with is own stage, felix dahousecat with his own stage, an own cocoon tent filled with banging techno hosted by sven vth...
need I say more..
the best thing ever occured to me at Mysteryland was with Mysteryland 2005;
David Guetta had been playing at the main stage for 2 hours or so, everyone was going crazy, the atmosphere was genius, then he had to stop but dropped one more tune, he completely played bob sinclair - love generation, well trust me 99% of the people there had never heard the song but for that moment it felt as if WE were the love generation..!! everybody was enjoying themselves..
I go every year, it's a sort of status quo mysteryland every year my closing party of the summer.

crazy place one of the best festivals i have been to! total haven for just getting out of it. the main stage last year for gielen and marco v's set lights were mesmerizing.
The green lamps they have in the wood like street lamps awesome. The onlu bad part is trying to get out the festival at the end seemed like a never ending journey.
5* Mojado in the boxing ring playing all the arena album also made the the day!
And if you like Mysterland you'll probably love the equivalent, also by ID&T in Belgium Tomorrowland. The first edition was last summer 2005 and it was also amazing. Haven't heard a single person who went there who didn't like it. The line-up was:

Thanks for the feedback. Those vids were amazing. So is Mysteryland better than Dance Valley? Or are they both too hard to compare? I guess it comes down to individual. Is it organised through ID& T? If so they certainly know how to throw a party!!!
Jesus the amount of work that must go in to creating thoses stages.
Actually Dance Valley is the only festival that has a good reputation organised by the only competitor of ID&T called UDC. Dance Valley is also magical, more than a decade in existence it is a guaranteed good party, but nonetheless Mysteryland does it for me every year over and over. If it were my choice i'd go for Mysteryland..!!
