Laptop Backpacks

I'm thinking of buying a new laptop backpack that will hopefully last the rest of my schooling career. Therefore, I am looking for one that will last a while, has good quality back support and a design that will facilitate easy organization. Can anyone suggest any stores I can browse around for good backpacks that fit this description?

Thanks.

I have a great one by Swiss Army that I picked up at Bentley for $79 about a year ago.

It's been durable as fuck and is light yet very comfortable.

as a bit of a clempto......id recomend not getting one of these, all i see is a big fuckin target.

at least get one that looks like a normal knapsac

The samsonite ones are nice.

the targus ones look odd to me, although I think they've come out with some high fashioned ones lately that look a bit more sleek.

Most luggage lines include laptop carriers, so don't feel limited to shopping at Staples. Check out department stores like the Bay. The Bay has fantastic bag selection!!

I second that!

I have a Swiss Army backpack and it has survived 2 years of heavy, freakin' engineering textbooks, 1 month trip to Europe and various other outings. It's useful, expandable, tons of pockets and still going strong.

Also check out Mountain Equipment Coop. There bags are also really good. I had one that lastest for years. Regular school back packs aren't that expensive there either - just not sure what selection they have for laptop back packs.

In the end, you get what you pay for and it's worth the investment.

I use a Swiss Army briefcase and it is perfection.

If you want the backpack:

I bought mine from MEC and it kicks ass. It's a side bag but has backpack straps on it too. Holds my 15.4" laptop and all my books comfortably. I think it was about $55
