steve angello fan getting bored with steve angello

Dear Steve Angello,http://img.tranceaddict.com/images/...icons/dunno.gif
Dunno
I have been your fan since day 1.
I think your collaborations with prydz, axwell and seb are out of control. But your style is growing stale, you are playing tunes that are worn out in your live sets (raining again) and your latest productions have all blurred together in a bassy mess.
One exception, 82'-83'
Anyway, enough messing around Steve
Surprise me Steve, SURPRISE ME
-Scott Edward

P.S. I will prob catch some crap for this but come on, since april/may 2005 he hasn't done anything mindblowing (except 82-83 and that was with seb)

actually it's their remix, it's by supermongo

it lacks creativity, they take part of small town boy by bronskibeat and they dumb it down and add some bass in
it's old, it's pedestrian it doesn't come close to blowing me away

It's no 82'-83'

Waits for SteveAngello to post...

It's all about the EP and the ToolBox EP.. the tunes on those two records are SICK!

Id love to hear more earlier work.

And 82-83's theme is sampled from an old classic tune also. But I like it a lot. Very good.

i posted about a month or 2 ago that their sound is turning into the mcprog.....

its getting repetitive... and getting old fast.

The problem is that someone makes a sound, people appreciate it, so they continue, it gets bigger, more people get into it, but those who were there early on tire of it & want something new before those who weren't into it so quick, subsequently those who are still into it accuse them of being haters and nobody wins. Except for Barcelona, they always win

Meh, even though I think some of his stuff is just average, for teh most part I love Steve Angello productions...

'Teasing Mr. Charlie' is decent.

Not, not always mate Zaragoza won them last week 4-2 and they just won them 2-1 (5-3 in total) yesterday so they are out now of the Spanish King Cup.

Steves human. The music is still like his old style. People like his style. He's not going to change his style. If you don't like it, don't listen to it.

Because you never have an opinion of your own.

rofl

what do you want to know?

Posted by InterMilan31 on Feb-03-2006 04:14:

I find Steve Angello to have a different sounds with each track...put it this way he is no Benassi also if you dont like it who is forcing you to listen to it?

why do people always use that excuse? obviously no one is forced to listen to it but that doesent take away from the shit production. No one if forcing us to listen to Britney Spears does that mean we cant have a say in her music?

anyway I have no oppinion whatsoever on Steve.

havent heard too much of his stuff but Yo Yo Kidz, Sweet Dreams, and Raining Again are all ace. though the sound he uses does tend to get tiresome on other artists (mylo for one).

Posted by Tayfoon on Feb-03-2006 05:51:

Few things

1st Steve stopped going on TA (cant blaim him)

2nd I dont understand why people say that his sound is repetitive, the man makes a rediculous amount of tracks, some of them sound similiar for he uses same tools.

Compare stuff like his remix of Say Hello, to yeah, to Teasing Mr Charlie, to his remix of Magnolia etc etc

Clearly different sounds completeley.

Sometimes when he makes remixes people ask him to make it more clubby (Steve Lawler, Deep Dish..) so he uses the fierce buzzing synth, he has more room in his own productions to explore whatever he wants.

82-23 wasnt that good, at all

It was decent, kindve similiar to yeah

He does have good stuff coming out very soon

Like that remix with Axwell, The new Who's Who EP, and Straight which is a very cool sounding track.

He just started, I doubt hes going to stop coming up with stuff anytime soon
