The best way to discover music is to find it out yourself and look on sites like Beatport, AudioJelly, Trackitdown.net, etc. There's so much trance out there, good and bad, that it is recommended to sort through the stuff.

If you like Tastexperience and Disco Citizens, you will like Chicane. Chicane is Disco Citizens (Nick Bracegirdle) and although he hasn't released much these past 6 years, his music is still timeless. Check out his albums "Far From The Maddening Crowds" and "Behind The Sun". You can buy some of his songs off Beatport and AudioJelly. Some of his better ones are....

Halcyon, Leaving Town, From Blue To Green, Offshore, Red Skies, Andromeda, Overlap, Autumn Tactics (esp the Thrillseekers Remix), No Ordinary Morning, and The Drive Home. He has some very textural ambient works too like "Early", "Already There", "Overture" and "Low Sun".

Also check out Probspot's album "Organic Waveforms" on AudioJelly for 6.50, and check out Micro de Govia's work such as his album "Chronoscale". Check out "Drifter" by Probspot, or "Foreplay" which isn't on the album but is definitely one of the better trance tunes from the past few years IMO. On Chronoscale, check out "Aura Indigo", "Epic Monolith", "Voller Sterne", "Dayturn" and "Final Emotion".

If you like that one you might like some of Tastexperience's other tracks as well, try their 2003 album "Beyond The Horizon".

Tantrix reminds me of ISOS and Highlander of the classic '99 Oakie EM's... great stuff!

I personally am not a huge fan of the original. Doesn't do much for me at all. The "Thrillseeker's Ambient Remix" or the "House Mix" now those I enjoy. The Disco Citizens mix isn't bad either, but prefer those to the original. Very standard dance track IMO, better than "Don't Give Up" however.

Taste Experience - Summersault. ahhhh what a tune, ive always loved this gem, especially the bassline.

If you enjoy stuff like Summersault I highly recommend that you check out Paul Oakenfold's Essential Mixes from 1999. Lots of hits on there.

Some of my personal favs from the EMs include:
Grace - Not Over Yet (Hybrid's It Is Now Mix & Matt Darey Mix)
Miro - By Your Side
Auranaut - People Want To Be Needed
Mauro Picotto - Lizard
Jon Vesta - Gull
Ambassador - The Fade
Velvet Girl - Velvet
Quivver - She Does
BT - Mercury & Solace
Moogwai - Viola

heh.. well i could go on for awhile

I shall recommend Paul Van Dyk's album Reflections

Okok, I didn't want to create a new topic just because of this little question that I have right here for y'all, so I thought I'd just go a lil' off topic in this thread.

I don't get it... the versions of Acues & Elitist - Zonderland (8 Wonders Mirage At Dusk Remix) that I download are NOWHERE close to as good as the one played in ASOT 203, but they're both the 8 wonders remixes, so... what's up? LOL

Cheers all for the replies

Chicane - Red Skies , now theres a good tune that I have never heard of, like it (a lot).

My biggest problem is that I know most songs to hear, but I am shit with names

Thanks again and keep em comin

Hybrid guys have never remixed Not Over Yet, i guess you meant Breeder's It Is Now Mix and actually both Breeder and Darey mixes are of the '99 release which got labeled as Planet Perfecto feat. Grace - Not Over Yet '99 instead of the original '95 mixes as Grace - Not Over Yet (Perfecto, BT, Danny Tenaglia,..).
