quality mix here bas...loved the tracks, and very smooth mixing...i did notice the level problems, but it was nothing huge
....freeform five - no more conversations (mylo remix) pwns! keep it up bro
really liked this mix. the tracks in the latter half were all very awesome.
i think 09. jl henney - me and my moog (cass & mangan remix) is the one i liked best. you also finished off very nice with 12. m - feel (dub mix).
i did notice a few of the mixes were a bit off beat matching wise. nothing to big but to a dj whos intensely aware of such a thing it's a distraction.
also i think you could have started off with a better track. a bit more energetic or attention getting as the mix didn't really seem to try to build in energy, just give a groovy trip. it just didn't get me too excited to listen to the mix. just my opinion. also personally i didn't really like that track i guess; which maybe caused a bias.
the accapella did go well with the next track though, nice transition. then it seems like you use the accapella with the next transition as well.. and use a distortion on it? or that's how the track sounds. kinda curious what you did there.
u use appleton like the other sasha whores? just wondering.
thanks for the mix, some really great tracks, will keep it in rotation for a while.

I cued it up to the point where she starts talking and just hit the 'cue' button to start and stop instead of 'play'. Then in the 3rd track when she's saying "kill" over and over, I just looped the word 'kill', hit the pitch button to change it to 'wide' (gives you +100%) slowly sped it up to 100% pitch, then spun the platter to give it that weird noise
, woah they're both track 9!! Crazy!
Loving this mix mate. The track at 51 mins owns me, guessing it's 11. freeform five - no more conversations (mylo remix)

. I'm glad you guys like it, I gave a few copies out to promoters and Desyn Masiello...I wonder what he thinks lol.
The vibe of this set was rather disco-esque which was very refreshing to hear especially that last track. I also noticed that this set resembled a lot of the same style of music as your last set except that the track selection is better this time. Now other than your beatmatching which is still a little shotty in some places, this is a big improvement over your last set mainly because of the high enjoyability (yeah thats not really a word) factor that I experience from this set so just work on the that matching young man and youll be set Bas!

FUCK YEAH!!!
This is awesomeAwesome. You know, it reminds of a more mellow Tiga. Tiga when he's mixing tech and disco. And Tiga is becoming one of my all new favorites. Hard yet flamboyant. As Stevieboy said, very discoesque! Disco as in rollerskates, armwarmers, pink wigs and glitterandcoke. I love the acid-ish track at 36:19.
That was most climatic for me. I'd pay to hear this live. You've got a real quirky, energetic, fun style that I love. It's like a mix of Boy George vs. a runway model show vs. electroclash vs. hard hitting beats. It reminds me of Ladytron, Playgroup, and Princess Superstar. You should definately check out the K7 label, as I'm sure you'll really like it. 10/10!
edit* NIIIIIIICCCCCCEE track with the female vocal "no room to breathe.."
Also, I'm trying to get a female friend into electronic music. She's a fan of Donna Summer, Madonna, vogueish, Sneaker Pimps, Jay Jay Johanson, etc. I'm going to give her a copy of this!

. I'm very electro inspired, my last demo was all minimal and acid house that I bought while I was in London, it was fun to play but I'm way more into the electro sound. I'm working on another mix that's a little more discoesque I think...I'll let you know when I'm done
don't worry, i didn't forget.
i have had this playing in my car for the past week.
i LOVE this mix.
it is very fun. i imagine you spinning and just having a good old time, dancing along and pumping your fist in the air. i love it when you can tell a DJ is having fun. it seems you take a lot of risks mixing and they work out great! keep doing that because thats when you learn what works and what doesn't. the style of this set is very ecclectic but it seems to work.
the electro crunchy sound is getting very repetative for me but you seem to have just enough that i don't want to turn the music off.
"lovefood" is now one of my favorite songs and that sample throughout the first couple of tracks sounds wikkid.
fun times with dj bas!
