[Minimal] Semirk - Us In Many Years Time (320k sample)
Hey,
I've took a little bit of a break from production and I've started again with this one. A bit of a different style now too. Would love any feedback.
Semirk - Us In Many Years Time
Thanks
like it
quirky little tune , i like it got its own vibe goin on keep at it mate... if you want to reveiw one of mine just find anything by covert23
Decent track so far, I like all the elements of the song, but I would alternate the use of them more. Mostly the main repetetive brnh brnh brnh brnh that stops at 1:47. I would switch that on and off when it is present, so it is less annoying.
Everything else sounds ok, I don't really have any other suggestions.
Hi mister Balti,
Listening ...
Clean sound, other than that what can I say lol, funny tune though, but stills sounding as if would be someone playing with fruityloops for the first time buddie, except for the mixdown, wich is sounding way better now.
In overall, play more with the FX's, elements, sounds way dry, if u are going all the way minimalyst become a master using delays and reverb, will add more life to ur tunes mate
.
Kop =o.
Cheers for the reviews guys, theyre a great help.
The fx etc are being done now on the track so will post back in a few days time with a fullish version.
very original tune with an awesome intro and some great elements. though this is one of those tunes where you say 'I really didn't expect this to go that dirrection...'
It's got sooo much potential as a commercial banger, but it needs a deep bassline every eighth note and a good snare...
It would kick ass... with those and some solid melodic line. though it doubles as a very original idm minimal track so good on ya...
Wow, cheers man. Will definitely work on those suggestions as it's certainly work in progress at the moment. Please check back in a few days when the finished product is up to see what you think then.
whoa...
Ok, so i took the suggestions and whiped something up in 30min yesterday. Kind of a template for some commercial tune with lyrics, but eh, lets see what you think of it...

hey mate, good work! but i find the sound that starts in the beginning that never seems to end a bit annoying, but thats my opinion.
keep at it mate!
Thanks iloop, love the version you've done.
And bidor yeah I admit it is a bit repetitive as you may have seen I found it this way so tried to stop and start it before ending it. I'll see what else I can do with it while its there to make it more interesting.
Thanks for the feedback too.

Weird synth in intro. I think the rhythm would be cooler if it were syncopated.
I think you could do more with effects, but since this seems to be IDM, we might as well throw rules out the window and judge it by how fucked up it is, and it does a pretty damn good job at it.
iloop: That's a tight track using his sample. Good work.

I hope the fucked up side of it is a good thing
, I do like them a bit weird so that they can be more original.
very original. It needs a bassline, would make the track danceable (not sure if this is your aim). The Sitar-esque sound from the intro should be cut somewhere along the line.
Thanks for the review.
Yeah the intro sound is the one I really need to fiddle around with and there will definitely be some adjustment to that as well as a bass added. Glad it comes out as original.
