British Comedy

Bottom

Father Ted

Game On

One Foot In The Grave

Royle Family

What has happened, why is there no decent comedy out there anymore!

Wasnt Neil Stuke in Game On? Is that pic from an older series?

Posted by sykadelik on Feb-06-2006 19:28:

I quite like the new IT Crowd.

Posted by Jim on Feb-06-2006 19:36:

Yeah that IT crowd is alright. Wouldn't say it was amazing though, funny viewing none the less though.

Posted by Saka on Feb-06-2006 20:45:

2 Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps wasn't bad.

Posted by Kinuvan on Feb-06-2006 20:50:

Garth Merengi
The Mighty Boosh
Green Wing
Peep Show
Extras

it's not british but Arrested Development is incredible and I would say it alost had a British sense of humour.

I'm loving the "IT crowd", maybe cos thats what IU do for a job but its pretty funny in its own right.

I used to think that, but recently it's grown on me. And their raps are awesome.

EDIT: Although a lot of the stuff mentioned is quite funny, who needs new comedy when you've got classics such as Coupling, Fawlty Towers, The Thin Blue Line and Keeping Up Appearences?

this was nothing short of sheer genius, i've been waiting for the new series for far too long! funnier than all the ones mentioned in the first post imo

peep show was also really funny & quirky

i saw 5 mins of the IT crowd the other night and had to turn it off though.. maybe i caught a bad scene but it was painfully unfunny. i can't stand 2 pints either, one of the women does my head in

Now your talking, that was quality!

and Rich you mean the one with the squeeky voice? she's about as annoying as they come but for some strange reason I still found what she said amusing. Some of the dippy things she comes out with are priceless.

Posted by isoterra on Feb-07-2006 12:41:

yeah her... guess i've never found excessive dippiness that amusing.

coupling is awesomer

Rick: "Ah well. Fine. Well I dont believe you. I think you did it on purpose because you know Ive got a Runny Bottom"
