Exclamation [Uplifting] Christian Zechner presents Pluvia - Farewell (Dub Mix) [192 clip]

there's been a few years since i last posted an MP3 in any board, so here's a clip of my newest little tune

http://www.infravibe.com/mp3/pluvia...ell__demo01.mp3 (right-click)

i also recently met a GREAT vocalist, so i have written some lyrics waiting to be recorded. it's going to end up as an uplifting, vocal trancer under my new guise Pluvia! please feel free to give me some feedback on this lil buildup clip thanks

It sounds pretty good, but this is a very small sample so I cannot give you a real opinion about it .
Kopi =o.

"Stellar Winds" was one of my favorite trance tracks from last year, really beautiful, uplifting and well produced material.

This new clip sound's good but i couldn't feel the direction in the track, i was expecting something else but then nothing happened except more sweeping pads and minimal atmosphere/sfx changes. From a production stand-point, everything is well placed and the mix spectrum is utilizied well, but really need's more drive in the bassline to give it more floor energy.

I guess your going for a bit of a proggy approuch this time round though?

Keep up the great work! Looking forward to hearing more from you.

thanks for the kind replies!

@Megazoid:
you're right, i'm going for a little more proggy style this time, hence my new guise Pluvia! but i have recently finished a Christian Zechner remix for a UK label, which is a very uplifting and driving tune, much like stellar winds

and it does sound kind of "empty". unfortunately, my vocalist has caught a cold now so we have to wait a few days before starting the vocal recordings ... the idea is that the verse will kick in when the sidechained bassline kicks in (this clip is part of the buildup, i haven't still finished the hook). i have added a subtle synthline to it though, to fill up the soundscape

its a short clip but it sounds really nice!

the bassline is really nice and the acids are fantastic!

evrything seem to fit perfectly in the mix and is mastered really well, would love to hear a larger sample.
