question for the DJ's out there

Does it annoy you that EDM groups are coming out with the artists calling themselves DJ when they have never DJ'd in their life?

Not really, as it mostly tends to be the 15 year old kids with eJay (whom I'm pretty sure you're familiar with ).

Yep - I thought you might answer this one dude

It annoys me when its something really stupid...

Like DJ Xtatica or Dj Phuzz...

WHen its something like Dj T.. its ok..

Honestly i dont care as long as the dj is good, if him or her is a dj.

No it's kind of a phase that evry1 goes threw. when i got my first decks
beltdriven numarks i might add i was like im the dj im the dj then i found out djing shouldnt define me it's what i do. Then i found out that im crap and that im no better than a kid with 2 ipods conected to the amp lol.

But what really anoyes me are the producers who call themselves djs l

Using the word Dj in front of any name is outdated IMO....
i find it rare to see someone who has dj in front of their name and actually be good.I think thats why they insist on using...just in case we didnt know.

It's a phase.

First I was DJ Iammesol
Then I was Iammesol
Now I'm Sam Reaves

but in answer to your question, yes it does, because to the intelligent listeners of EDM, it makes them look even more ghey.
