What are the techno Tracks being played in the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics??

They are pretty cool.?

The tracks are all specially written productions or remixes by Tiesto, who was the DJ who played them. The full set is available on disc:

System J that was from the Athens Olympics. Im talking about the tracks that were just played in the opening Ceremonies of the Winter Olympics in Turin

no twit, the Winter Olympics. they were written by Richie Hawtin specially for the Olympics.

Although I haven't been watching it, I think he's referring to this years Winter Olympics... I could be wrong though

heard some good acid-oriented music when that "future army" were doing their thing. that was hawtin also?

The future army part was the best. It was hard, thumping DE9 stuff with harsh acid lines.

Best. Opening Ceremonies. Ever.

I missed it. There's been too much talk about the god damn caricatures, so I didn't catch the date the opening ceremonies were supposed to be.

Shouldn't you be complaining that minimal takes itself too seriously? Or that we've had acid lines and beats be utterly played out over the past twenty years? That the Olympic Opening Ceremonies aren't underground enough or don't have enough hippy one-ness atmosphere about them?

The only track that we recognize durring the whole ceremony was F.U.S.E. - Substance Abuse, Which was one of Richie Hawtin's aliases, Everything else early on was just plain old 70s disco music.
