Hydroid in New York City.........
what are youre people's thoughts on having him here in New York City at possibly Avalon? what do you guys think?
~Eco.
I'd probably go. One of the few trance peeps I still dig.
I would deffinately go. He's one of my fav producers
Hydroid???
Hydroid - Burn Proof / Sativa
How could you not go? He has produced a lot of great stuff. In fact here's a thread where he discusses some of that material:

I know it's unrelated but take this thread as a great reason to go.

I would definitely go to this.
We should get him and Maor Levi (aka Pillow One) to come over together from Israel and spin the same night. That would definitely be worth seeing. word.

problem is money, as well as draw... Hydroid cant sell out a New York club (altho with good promotion, we could get a substantial amount of heads)... love Levi's work as well but he has half the crowd pull as Hydroid does, and Hydroid has half the crowd pull as the trance acts that usually come to NYC do, so you gotta keep in mind the airfare for two
from Israel, so its not some 300$ ticket, its 1300$... but yeah, any trance lover would love these two DJs here in New York City
Id consider long as its not avalon
dont think anyone but Avalon has the balls to book most of the acts that we'd all wanna see
Spirit had their Perry/NuNrg/MIKE night back in September, and thats about the extent of creativity of trance lineups as we've seen anywhere outside of Avalon... just my opinion

very good point^^^
however, i must agree and disagree with you on the Avalon point... i think the booking manager there is a little bit more open minded... sure, as of late, they havent had any of the mindblowing talent that im referring to, but the past year, think about whos been there, and you gotta admit, the lineups pretty decent: Eddie Halliwell, Scot Project, Blank and Jones, Yahel, Anne Savage, Judge Jules... post 2000, this was the spot that had Ferry, Picotto, Felix Da Housecat, Sven Vath, and others who have now moved on to places like Crobar and Spirit (and Pacha), so in the past, they have had a knack for putting together some interesting nights (not to meniont whats to come in the very near future
), so you never know how a night like this might go, could go amazingly well, could go not so well... your thoughts....
Fuck! His remix of Star Traveller is really kicking my fucking ass right now! FUCK!!!!
