Best Remixes?
In your own opinion, who makes the best remixes overall. not just one or two... but who has made the best remixes since they have been around? could be house or trance... doesnt matter, just like to hear everyones opinion. thanks
I vote for Jaques Lu Cont... ive never not liked a remix that came from this man. they seem to have every quality of a great track... parts have a great melody where u can just sit and chill(i.e. Mr. Brightside remix)... then many tracks just rip shit up and make u wanna go nutz (Jetstream remix, What are you waiting for remix)!
thanks for responding!
Tiesto makes the best remixes imo.
BT, for me.
Jaron Inc. (Robert Gitelman & Jaron Martinez)
Delerium - After All (Jaron Inc. Remix) ---> The best remix ever had!!!
Slacker and Way Out West, though neither have done many lately.
Those, who makes them different from the original. Can't post any examples, cause nothing particular comes into my head atm. I'm bored of hearing the same motives in 64758960 versions of the song. I mean, where's the creativity?
flutlicht
Gabriel and Dresden make the best remixes *ducks*
I kidd i kidd

red jerry.. remember gamemaster and wizards of the sonic?.....OMG!!!

Tarrentella & Redanka
65D Mavericks
I think Junkie XL consistently makes some of the best remixes.

there is no best.
Tiesto, Andy Moor, and Gabriel & Dresden
Used to be Tiesto, then his remixes went downhill, it used to be Armin, then his remixes went down hill. It used to be Above & Beyond, and their remixes went down hill (and productions, but i'll listen to tri-state first and see if some i haven't heard are any good) and now I'de say Alucard. His remixes have yet to go down hill. Some aren't THAT great but i've heard a good 5 or 6 remixes from him that are top notch. Of all time, probably Thrillseekers. Although some of his remixes under that alias sound a lot like each other, I haven't heard that many weak remixes from him, he seems to be quite consistent. Ronski Speed used to do some good remixes too (Eye Of Horus, Protonic, The Promise), but he hasn't released that many great remixes lately (last year he had a few...Sole Surivor and Asarja IMO). Kyau vs. Albert seem to do some good remixes..though haven't heard them all.
2 best Remixes: (IMO)
James Holden - Nothing (93 Returning) <-- who saw that coming
Delerium - The Silence (Tiesto Remix)
Im not sure about best remixers, Tiesto does alot but that dont make him the best.

Slacker and WOW are both top notch remixers, but it's hard to pick one who is "the best". Rabbit In The Moon deserves a mention too though.
Hybrid, Way Out West, M.I.K.E, Leama & Moor, Bill Hamel, and Paul Oakenfold
Leama & Moor, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Flutlicht and Hydroid.
