10th Alabama Church burned.

If anyone hasn't been following this one, 10 Baptist churches in Alabama have bet set on fire in the last week or so. ATF and FBI are involved in the search, but few details have been made avaliable to the public.

Im all for free speech, and im fairly against people voting with their bibles, but of course this is a step too far. I imagine they'll catch the perpetrator(s) soon.

Probably God taking a revange on all the dumbasses who voted Bush

(from the article)-"Five churches with predominantly African-American congregations and four with predominantly white ones have been set ablaze in the past week in central and western Alabama."

Half the churches burned then were African-American.

95% of the African-Americans didn't vote for Bush...so how do you explain your un-informed and frankly, ignorant comment?

Is it because you believe the stereo-type that only ignorant Southern white hicks in America are the ones who put Bush in office?

Piece of advise; If you don't know much about a specific country, then it's usually best not to speak at all.

it's called a "joke" donniebrasco; these "jokes" contain something called "humour" or "sarcasm" - you should look these words up in the dictionary

Does this mean that if all the churches were mostly ppl who voted Bush, then it would be a perfectly good explanation that God burned all of them?!

You live in sweden, go away. You don't joke about this kind of shit. These are churches that are being burned. I don't care if it is a church, synagogue, mosque, or temple. So what, if a non-religious building is burned it's ok to make jokes about it, but if it's a church then it's horrible?

No one has been hurt in the Alabama fires.

The motivation for this is pretty clearly religious or political, which is dumb in either way. Religious aspects aside, it sill remains as a property standpoint. Someone is burning private property to satisfy some personal desire, and that is not right.

I don't mind anyone making jokes about it, but they cant bitch if, for example, someone steals from them and someone else makes a joke.

I really don't have anything to add here since you are rather hard to argue with, but just for the sake of it I wanted to bump this thread to show my foolishness.

If this was a mosque not a church this thread would be 20 pages long.

I think they should draw cartoons of this, just so we can see how
