Female DJs on TA?

Just thought there should be a thread for all those female DJs on TA here. Seems like most of those DJs on here are guys. I'm a guy, but it would be cool to know how many females on here DJ, either as a hobby or as a career.

Maybe thats a nice thread.

"Gigs that have gotten you a score"

Kinda backwards. Try hanging out here first, I am sure it will give you a little bit of motivation to jump on the decks

Yup, haven't seen her in ages though but she used to be here a lot.
She is a nice looking lady but I think all the retards got to her in the end.
She is also a good DJ compared to quite a lot of people so definately has the potential to make a big impression.
Providing a woman has the right look it is technically easier for them to make it in this industry as long as the skills are half decent even without a production to their name.

For a guy it is virtually impossible without productions to make it into the top 100 with very few exceptions i.e. Eddie Halliwell. The industry is massively male dominated but it would be nice to see a few more ladies take to the decks. I tried to teach my wife but it was pretty hopeless (bless her).

I know there are a few more females lurking around but many don't post directly and tend to work more with the PM method.

Cheers

Might be easier to get noticed, but harder to get taken seriously. How annoying it must be for every well thought out post she makes to be replied to by e-perves. To work really hard at her skills, then only to be noticed for her physical attractiveness. I think you're right - she'll be sticking to places where she's not taken the piss out of (she does radio on pure dj sometimes).

Way to lose a good poster, guys.

I like her sets. She and I have exact same taste in music: Hardtrance/-style and acid.

Don't worry dude, wasn't 'dissin' her skills. I know she works hard and definately deserves to succeed.

Was more aimed at the DJ Raps of the world.

Cheers
