Smiley DJ The ultimate, custom trance album!

Hey everyone, this is my first time posting. I know there are probably a lot of threads like this, if not, very similar, but i feel that since music changes all the time (new music is released and people always update their favorite songs to new ones, etc.) But im looking to put together the ultimate trance CD. I want all the best songs. The best of the best. Songs that arent hours long, and dont keep playing the same beat over and over again. Songs that are very uplifting and make you start bouncing your foot even though you dont realize it. Songs with beautiful beats, rythms and vocals. A song you feel deserves to be put as track number 1 on the ultimate trance CD. I'd appreciate if you could give me 1 (at the most, 2) of your FAVORITE trance songs. Ones you can listen to over and over again and dont get sick of hearing. I'd really appreciate what you guys have to post because im interested in putting together the ultimate trance CD. I'll start off by putting the first song i think should be on the CD. (Also (you dont have to) but if i could get a link to the song/songs you post so i could maybe listen to them and see just what your guy's tastes are, id really appreciate it.)

Track 01) "Wasting (Andy Moor Remix)" Hidden Logic [Wasting Incl (Andy Moor Remix)]

Thanks for your guys help!

Sure, but if this is the case, don't call it a trance album, because you aren't interested in making one.

Underworld - Thing in a Book.

It's all about songs that last for hours and parties that last for days.

But, trance /is/ hours long. And it only seems repetitive because you aren't paying attention. Seriously.

Some tracks I'd put in:

Sasha - Xpander
Underworld - Dark and Long (Dark Train Mix)
Odysee of Noises - Firedance (Sunrise)
Taylor - Xenophobe
PvD - Seven Ways
Astral Projection - Nilaya
BT - Mercury and Solace

How many times are you gonna use Jenna Jameson analogies?
It's funny like once or twice.

Okay for the grumpy **** above I shall therefore rephrase it to:

Sorry to be the spoiler but hasnt this topic been covered more than Tera Patrick's face? :S

Is that better? student scum :P

Oh wait, your responsible for that remix of Coldplay, I'll take it all back then still, lighten up though!

Did you produce that remix or? it rocks

Posted by Col on Feb-14-2006 13:27:

You don't have to take it back, I'm still a c*nt.

But thanks, I'm glad you like it.

Hehe, on a serious note, I know that saying is old hat, but its gold.

Its a great remix, is there somewhere I can buy it yet? is it getting pressed?

Oh my god i just noticed your from Middlesborough originally, dear god! :P

Signed,

A Newcastle Fan

Posted by Col on Feb-14-2006 13:45:

RIVALRY!
The Sunderland fans are worse anyway.

And nah I doubt the remix will get pressed. I've had a bit of interest over White Label stuff but it definitely won't get an official release. Judge Jules and a couple of other big name DJs have been playing it though, so I'm happy enough with that.

...Oh yeah, and I would normally be concerned that we've turned someone's thread into a personal conversation, but this thread was crap to begin with so I don't really feel bad about it.

LMAO, yeah, Mackem scum, so you are a Smoggy then, you studying in Brum then or something? good result against Chelsea, still cant believe it now, that Rochemback was awesome for you

I was gonna say, thats where I heard it, heard it on Jules's show, funnily enough it was mixed in with a track I've been promoting and trying to get signed myself (Coby - Blue Sapphire) - I've been trying to find out more details about that Coldplay remix for ages, funny how I bump into the producer in some shit thread on here who's giving me abuse

Your right, this thread was shit, lets make it more interesting.....

SMOGGY SCUM!!! Boro suck more cock than Gauge! sorry I'll stop now

Posted by Col on Feb-14-2006 14:03:

Small world, as they say.

And yes, ROFLMAO at Chelsea.
Shame Boro are doing really shit this reason. Maybe McClaren should go?

If in doubt, blame the manager.

Yep

ROFLMAO @ Chelsea indeed, I took great pleasure in seeing Chelsea getting f**ked, even if it was by the Smoggies

Could be worse, you could have Graeme Souness in charge, thankfully The Fat Controller upstairs sorted that one out at last

The extended version might get a bit repetetive to some, but I just LOVE it!!! It's one of the reasons why I started listening to EDM.
I don't see alot of people speaking about it though, is it really that bad to you?
