Dunno Zabiela or Kleinberg?? (Feb. 17th)

Need some help on deciding which one to see. The thing is though, I've never seen either. However, I've heard great things about both. Let me know what you guys think.

I suggest Sander...even though he hasnt been on point lately.

But why dont you download both DJs recent sets from somewhere and see what sounds better to you.

I will be at Sander cus Zabiela, to me, is too experimental..he has skills but some of the things he does and tunes he plays are kind of annoying.

Sander is wack. Never felt his music, even back at Arc. JZ has skills, but he plays too many damn breaks. Its like the nite never gets kicked off. LOL. Im goin to Pacha. Free b4 12 and u get to see hot girls with cherries on their nipples at Pacha. Thats always a nice site to see.

Ummm... the night never kicks off when a DJ plays too many breaks?

Anyway... anyone that even slightly knows me knows where I'll be.

So critical of you to say such things

I'd recommend listening to a few sets of each and looking at their tracklists so you can come up with your own opinion.
But I recommend Zabiela

Sander's bi-monthly if that makes a difference to you.

Shut your mouth shamus. 4 to the floor is the only way to go. Breaks are too complicated to dance to when you've got cherry nipple girls to look at/grope.

Regular 4/4 beat: Everyone dancing.
Break beat: Everyone stops and looks around.

It never fails and I'll never understand it.

You'd b crazy not to see Zabiela! Sander has a bi-monthly residency, I don't care what anyone says, how many more chances this year will you have to see Zabiela, and how many more chances will you have to see Sander? There's your answer.

iono man...im ALWAYS dancing to Zabiela...shruggs. He's WICKED

and its free. and its PACHA. and Sander's bimonthly.

It can be fun going nuts to breaks when everyone else just stops dancing though. You kind of get that personal satisfaction of thinking that those breaks are being dropped just for you and your breakbeat loving ass...

If the crowd is anything like cielo's though, I think we'll be in for a good night - Definitely a lot of breaks tolerant, just generally happy people there. Plus we've got five hours. I'm thinking the supermodel/guido crowd clear out between 3 and 4 and we're left with two hours of funky breaks, zabi mashups, and "gotta have more cowbell" samples.

I'd choose Hector Romero @ LOVE. The man behind SAW recordings, best dj in nyc.

The venue is cool and I havent seen Hector Romero, sober that is. I barely remember a track he spun or what he spun. Now its a toss up between this and Pacha. Too bad no comps b4 12 for this one.

Posted by Shamez214 on Feb-17-2006 00:09:

As far as I can tell, there is no dress code for Pacha. They don't even search upon entry.

Posted by BiG MiKE on Feb-17-2006 01:06:

Ok. I guess sneakers are a plus then

Posted by phoenixBEBE on Feb-17-2006 01:16:
