Tough poll : Who's better, Nu-NRG or Stoneface & Terminal ?
Btw, hope this doesnt get moved to the polls thread, as its aimed in a music discussion sense as well as a Poll, I'm VERY intrigued to see how the voting goes on this....
Who produces the better more energetic stuff? Nu-NRG or Stoneface & Terminal ?
What a toughie!!!!
my vote goes to Stoneface & Terminal.....
Simon
hmm shouldnt have included Neither as an option, should've made it "of the 2" :S
not nearly as entertaining as your last poll...
voted nu-nrg... because I did!
Id say Nu NRG for obvious reasons.
Their old stuff was great, some of their newer, techy stuff isnt as energetic. It'll be interesting to see what Giuseppe does in his solo project.
Always been meaning to ask of your opinion of Stoneface & Terminal and you didnt mention them, you slag THE_Chris
Heh
I havent listened to that much of their stuff
Well here are some samples of some of their tracks.
Summerscape
Solarscape - Alive (Stoneface & Terminal Vocal Mix)
Ohm Boys - Down Under (Stoneface & Terminal Remix)
Kuffdam & Plant - Summer Dream (Stoneface & Terminal Remix)
4 Strings - Sunrise (Stoneface & Terminal Remix)
Marksun & Brian - Neno Itome (Stoneface & Terminal Remix)
Tell me what u think.
Simon
I think the Stoneface & Terminal Remix of Fred Bakers - Beautiful Sunshine, is an absolute stunner, the original is good, but the S&T Remix takes it up to another level, a great uplifter
But i would have to go for Nu-NRG, not for there recent efforts, but because of Dreamland, Butterfly, Supersonik Way, and ofcorse Aloa P!, oh and there remix of Sunday Afternoon
I'm REALLY suprised Stoneface & Terminal are 10-2 down to Nu-NRG at the moment !

Their old stuff (Moon loves the sun, Angelic remix, Last Experience etc) is still much more energetic (and feels more original) than any of those samples
your such a bitch at times Chris hehe
hmm, let me put Orgasmatron on now then
Go listen to Live from Orgasmatron then tell me who is better!
Il silencio e roto daaaaa....... NU-NRG!!!!!!
Okay, I take it back, Nu-NRG are better.... lol Ive just listened to Orgasmatron 5th May 2002 for the last 10 mins.....
S&T are fucking good tho
Not to burst your bubble and I hope you don't take this personally but seriously what's the point of threads like this
Usually the people who ask these kinds of questions are the uninformed clueless people .... which I've always assumed you weren't as you are quite aware of the music.
Anyhow I take of vote of abstinence

I know a lot of the polls like this are complete bollocks but its interesting to know as I feel both artists are similar in a way.
Right now, to get my energetic melodic trance needs filled, I'd go with Stoneface & Terminal. Mostly because they have that slitghly rougher feel to their tracks compared to NU-NRG.
Both makes good energetic trance though so I'm always keeping an eye out for whatever they do.
Why do you guys compare S&T with Nu Nrg? Nu Nrg have a much bigger Fancrowd because of their "old" Hits.S&T build up their Project since about a half year. I think you should start this Poll in 1 year again...
Well, I see what your saying, I wanted to see how S&T's popularity is, obviously they have a long way to go before they match Nu-NRG, I think they have really good quality in their productions and this year will be a big year for them...like the year Nu-NRG took off
