for some reason or another i am unable to UNsubscribe to posts and continue to receive email notifications from threads i unsubscribed to....anyone know how to fix this problem??

There's an option in your profile that automatically unsubscribe from threads. I had the same problems when I first started posting.

It should be in your profile options.
