The original only seems like an interesting concept, I voted for that.

free for all

voted for classics

free for all sounds like a recipe for disaster ... hard & techy is always good but that was done last time. the tribute thing would be too tricky, choosing someone who everyone could contribute well to. ambient... meh. not sure i quite get the original versions only thing, or at least, the appeal behind it.

so by process of elimination it's classics from me. would be interesting to see if people steer away from the obvious anthems...

nicely said
my thoughts were going the same way

Pre-2000 sounds really cool, id definatly be down for that. Either that or the tribute mix, I could really see a cool Matt Darey cd there, haha.

After the hard, epic, frantic progressions of CD3, I'm voting for ambient as we need a relaxing break. But then again this is tranceaddict so we should be mixing trance....

Even so, I quite like the look of those other options in the poll. Whatever the result I'm sure CD4 will be great!

free for all

i say fuck it, all the djs tend to pull the mix in a differen't direction anyway i think it would be interesting to see what happens when there are no limitations.

could turn out cool.

m.i.k.e. tribute

Posted by mr2gti on Feb-18-2006 18:00:

I went for Free for all, simply because it really CAN go wrong, but SO right.

Thing is, we really haven't gone PROPER hard yet, you know, the stuff needed at about 12.30am to really extract ever last bit of energy from the crowd.

Ambient is needed, as it's the perfect post-mash come down.

Tributes are quality too.

Pre-2000 would be EPIC! Binary Finary, Da Hool, Hardfloor!!!

Vote result as of WEDNESDAY will be the result, and the sign up process will start.

Free For All it is!

i had a neat idea you could use in the next poll... say if there are 14 DJS, have the mix progress through 14 different years; the first choosing a track from 1993, the second 1994... all the way up to 2006. selecting an order randomly may not work since not everyone has tracks that old, but it could work out quite interesting, i think
