Tiesto In Search Of Sunrise 5: Los Angeles
it will be more meaningful if he held the launch party at LA. i guess he is more welcomed at miami.

Tisto will bring you a brand new episode in the In Search Of Sunrise mixcompilation series. Part 5 of this highly acclaimed series will be titled Los Angeles. During the Winter Music Conference, there will be a special album launch party at Mansion, Miami South Beach, on Sunday March 26 th. 2006. In Search Of Sunrise 5 Los Angeles- will hit record stores April 25th 2006 worldwide. It will be packaged in a special slipcase, printed with metallic foil. |
Well... WMC is definately a good way to showcase things, and get hype about it. Totally agree with you though. Ironic that it's even titled... Los Angeles.... and you are launching in Miami. *rolls eyes*
What would be funny if there is some lame speal about how great LA is on the insert.
Did you just get an e-mail about this or something?
The lauch parties have nothing to do with the title of the CD, unfortunately.
Mix starts with a dreadful pattern. It is acceptable for an intro. Many DJs start slow, catch up later. At 4th min, there are some effects. I was expecting he might throw something complex. Oh no, 5th minute and back to the unpleasant baseline rhythm dim-----dim------dim. It was like he pushed the repeat button and left. This crap goes until 8:30 min. Finally, something new, but just a distasteful simple trance. This goes until 11:30 min. My eyelids got heavier. I did not have any patience left. At 13th min, he decides to slown down even further, my heart rate sank. Thanks god he picked up at 14 min, otherwise I could go into cardiac arrest. At 14:30 min, someone announces this is Tiesto mix, oh really I thought this was a kid behind an electronic keyboard. I could not take any more. I forwarded to 24 min when he completely broke down. The rest of the mix was like pushing a car uphill with slow motion tempo.
In summary, there is no originality in this mix. It sounds like a beginner level mix with simple electro effects. It reminded me Larry Heard Can You Feel It.
Enough is enough.
The main reason people are not coming to EDM events is bad DJs.

he was probably listening to zabiela where his last brain cell gave up on him zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
surgeon general should insert a warning at the beginning of sasha and zabiela's mixes that you can have an irreversible brain damage .

LA has plenty of gangs, you guys should be called imbecile house gang.

lol
so young, so angry.
poor sap
I'm glad he chose Los Angeles to do his latest isos. He has alot of fans here. We'll see what inspiration the city brings to his mix. If the mix is good that will reflect well on the city and the scene, and vice versa. I have enjoyed all his ISOS series with the exception of the 1st one. let's hope he continues that quality trend.
