Who loves cops? There are a few good ones, but some of them seem to just join the force for the wrong reasons, and that is to make people fear them.
Remember that kid who was always picked on in school, or school bully? Well, he might be the asshole cop that pulls you over next time.
I was pulled over last week at 11pm, after picking up my girlfriend. I have a show car:

Well, my windows are tinted, and the officer pulled me over because it was dark outside, and could not see me through the windows. Now, of course it is dark outside, so even if I had no window tint, he still could not have seen me. My car is black inside and out. He asks me for the registration, proof of insurance, as they always do, but then asks me questions like where was I coming from, how long I was there, where am I going and how long I lived in this state. Now, what the hell these questions have to do with me being pulled over, who knows?
He comes back with his little window tint device to check and see how dark my tint is, and then says it needs to be changed. Now my window tint is not limo, its only 25%. I was pulled over for a good 30 minutes or so. Now what kind of shit is this?
All of that for tinted windows, and when I asked him why cant someone have their windows tinted to dark, is it for a officers protection or something, he says nothing and then says having a nice night. I would have had a nice night if he did not pull me and my girl over.
What about my protection, what about peoples rights, someone telling anyone how their car should look, and not look like, whos business is that?
The land of the free, I think not.

here's my cop story of recent days...
i was driving across the country... i'm in south dakota, speed limit is 75mph, obviously everyone is going over that because there is like no one on these roads and they're all flat and straight... i'm going "84" (supposedly they saw me twice), anyways, the cop basically said he's pulling me over for speeding but since i had NH plates and i'm in "no man's land" he thinks drugs are involved... i was up for over 30 hours straight at this point with red bulls scattered all over the front seat and he's like... why are your eyes all red and glossy, im like... i've been up for 30+ hours, so he starts saying he's gonna get a dog to sniff through the car for drugs unless i authorize him to search it, so basically it's a lose/lose situation (luckily i didnt have anything) so i let him search, im sittin in his car at this point cuz he told me to get out... another cop comes, starts askin me questions... ANOTHER cop comes, starts askin me questions... literally 40 minutes go by, finally they say, "since you've been so cooperative, you can go with a warning", im like... well this sucked but whatever, better than a ticket... but 3 cops have to come for this??? they friggin tore that car apart searching it... seriously looked inside AND OUT... one cop actually got under the car and started searching around, they took out the spare tire and were bouncing it around for a good 3 minutes... popped the hood, i swear they looked in every possible spot you could imagine... pissed me off but whatever, i guess they got nothin better to do in south dakota... i hate cops
Now if you're black or one of the many protected classes of people, the popo's could have a lawsuit on their hands over this. It's always good to have a 2nd person along; the wolves likes attacking easy prey when it comes riding through....
fyi-i doubt they even THOUGHT you had drugs (they prob couldnt care two sh*ts less anyway.......) but their duty is to be pr*cks. that's all. you may go, son. We get a rise in our pants for the day. Now back to the doughnut shop for another round! yeahhh

Got balls there, Dale. Most people would wilt rather than keeping say no to a cop. I found this website a long time ago which will send anyone a pocket Constitution for $5. Suggest have one in their car if they need it. It details the Bill of Rights and some other laws. There are too many cops who are arrogant. so if someone said "No sir, I'd rather you not search" and keep repeating that (but not give the reason why), the cop will eventually give up. Unless he can see something visibly or smell something, he can't just decide "Well me and the boys are calling out the dogs and we're gonna rip your fucking h00pty apart. And strip search your ass, hang ya on that tree over there.... u got a few hours to spare, I hope?"
There have been recent court cases (Supreme Court issued a ruling about 2-3 yrs ago) about what a police/highway patrol officer can/CANNOT do. One of those rights IS to search your car but only with "reasonable suspicion" which they have to back up with evidence in court. Although cops always bend the rules, and lie like all Hell without any conscience, their ass is on the line. Enough bad stops & they'll be in trouble with the department.
Bottom line: Know your Constitional rights, be calm, and be firm.

See thats whats wrong with people - just giving in and before you know it more rights are gone. I told that story to everybody and all of them would have just allowed the search one girl even told me its against the law to NOT allow the search WTF are they teaching in school? I used to live over by Daytona and the sheriff Vogel made a big name of himself by stopping cars and asking to search- he would then say any cash found was drug money! This was on 60mins and the feds even backed his methods, it was pretty well known- google it. At one point they said carrying $100 cash means it was drug money!
My lawyer beat it into my head how to handle any traffic stop, btw he used to be a state prosecutor.
