i am really loving this track. don't know about anyone else but it's FAN-TASTIC!

Joni is a very talented producer. I'm really digging his tracks. Made a thread about him in MD a few weeks ago.

The original mix was nice but Niklas Harding remix was really bad.

01. Green Astronauts (Original Mix) 8/10
02. Green Astronauts (Niklas Harding Remix) 3/10

Niklas' remix is just freakin awesome! The original mix a little boring.

Its amazing

Really eerie and dark, looking forward to buying this

I didn't know Niklas produced. Since when does he do it?

There is something lacking in his remix. Maybe it just sounds like alot of other mcprog tunes I've heard. Nothing that stands out.

Dude, you gotta be kiddin' right? Pagoda, ice beach, red jewel, blue circles, shadows, butterfly effect? Does it ring a bell?

I'm pretty sure that Anders Mikkelsen is the one that produce for Niklas.

Original has always been pretty cool to me, and I don't like the remix by Harding, Sorry.

I do have very reliable first hand sources.
but sorry for pointing it out. i bet this kind of info shouldn't be leaked.

Niklas just sent me a PM to straighten some things out:

copy-pasted:

just to get a few things straight, i understand people having different taste in music, i never claimed that anyone should love what we do, im just happy for those who does!

the tracks of mine, are produced with Anders Mikkelsen, at my studio. The general thing is, when it comes to the technical musical parts, like chords, notes etc etc, im lacking behind, and that is why i teamed up with anders, as hes really skilled on the dry musical parts.

so believe it or not it is actually a 50/50 work on the productions, and all of them are made together at the studio.

im planning taking piano lessons, so i can get along on the musical part to, which i surely hope will help me on the side of the music i lack!

just wanted to clear things up, so you get the idea, instead of just knowing something, from someone, that once told you i got everything made by other people!

cheers
niklas harding

Niklas also wrote that the decision to only have his name on the releases was Anders own.

so now we sorted it all out!

Thanks! as i wrote to Rebel9, sometimes its a bit of a sad situation, and seems to happen alot at the forum! That people turn into these sherlock holmes, whom wanna try and "bust" people, based on information, that arent true.

alot of negativity is posted upon the costs of the producers, ive been on this forum since 2001, and more and more flamers in general have entered these friendly forums. In the review section which i read on general basis. Most tracks first gets posted here, when one of those mp3 groups releases a rip. Alot of people just post useless comments, back to the school: criticizm is not just "crap track" etc.

and heey i read these forums, when ever someone posts something about our tracks, thats the only reason how we can evolve as producers, get to know from other people what can be done better.

But cause of all this "crap" posted, it does not really wanna make you come back and read more.

ps: this has nothing related to Rebel9's statement, just felt like getting out with a few lines

I see nothing wrong with that his tracks are produced with someone else as alot of other producers does the same thing.. Harding's music ownz! But this remix was abit too fast, didnt really like the original either

i said constructive criticizm, wouldnt exactly call the lines above, for that.

and why even spend 30 sec on posting here if you have nothing reasonable to say?

Posted by KAKAAKlol on Feb-19-2006 21:54:

Sorry Niklas i mostly like all your productions but this one didnt do it!

Stupid, why you have to offend people.

I can understand that you don't like progressivemusic, mcprog or whatever you want to call it.
but I don't accept that you call crap everything that you don't like.

Blue Circles it's fucking beautiful, it makes me cry of happiness.
you call it mc Prog whatever you want, but it makes me feel good.

People like you should be filtered from this site,
no constructive criticism, you are pure Hate and Envy, so you don't want to help anyone, you just want to bring them down, and that's not what this forums are made for.

For Niklas:
Keep sorrounded by the music environment, I think you will just keep getting better and better by time.

Posted by 8Wonders on Feb-20-2006 02:09:

I think the reason why it was even brought up is that most people just presume that they are produced 100% by Niklas alone, becuase 'the other guy' barely gets mentioned.

and that the other guys name isn't mentioned in the tracklists.

how many actually knows that Sasha didn't produce Xpander himself? Out of tracklists etc you don't see Charlie May mentioned.

:: prepares to get flamed :: ...

why do people waste their time worrying about who produces what? Its good music in the end right? Then again its a matter of taste.
