I Canada loses to Swiss

First... I can't believe I stayed up watching this shitty ass game (yes, up.. cause I work nights . Now I have to sleep at work... great lol)

Second... What a horrible game, penalty after penalty after penalty. Then, powerplay after powerplay after powerplay. Stupid dumb calls all around. I don't know why the freakin' whistle was blown when Canada clearly scored (I think it was in the 2nd period), then that goal by Nash. That clearly in the net! You know what's most sad, THEY DIDN'T EVEN SCORE!!! lol I don't know what else to say.

Canada shouldn't lose to teams like these with all-star players. They should always win...

Off topic, not that I watch curling but wtf there too! I thought Canada was unbeatable in curling.

All that matters is that they win GOLD!! During the last Olympics, they lost to Sweden in the opening game and everyone was bashing them, but they went on to win it all. Have patience kids.....

Canada definatley didn't play a great game, but at the same time it should serve as a serious wake up call. Hopefully now they'll realize that maybe they aren't going to walk threw these teams (that they probably should) and start playing Canadian hockey.

Yes the Swiss are fast, Gerber was amazing and the refereeing was terrible (both ways) and even though Canada had two goals called back it probably shouldn't have come down to that.

ahhhh well Im sure they'll get their shit together for the next game....no worries here, its just too bad that they seem to have to learn a lesson like this every time around...

looking forward to the next game.

when's the next game btw, it sucks that with the time difference i can never watch a game during the week and the one i can watch the Canadians were sluggish.

first one...Bertuzzi was in the crease...

second one...if the goal judge cannot see the entire puck clearly over the line it doesn't count..

yeah, it does suck we didn't win, but whatever, we'll still grab the gold...Gerber one that game for them, and it's a clear indication why Carolina's doing so well in the NHL standings

as pissed as i am that they lost, i am happy at the same time.There is no excuse to take ANY team lightly at this level of play.Hopefully Team Canada will now realize that they have to show up every day and do what it takes to win gold.

Anyways the swiss turn out to be a dark horse of the tournament (first the czech, now canada), and it would by fun to see them win the whole thing.

Watched the whole Canada game...ugh...

Gerber was hot (/understatement) that's for sure and Canada just couldn't get anything together.

Not sure if it was that neutral zone trap the Swiss were doing or if Canada just didn't have their game legs on.

Either way, it wasn't a medal round and I'm going to feel sorry for the next team Canada is going to face...
