Yeah they were advertising it on television. It was fucking awful

Check out Maurice - Feline (Original Union Mix). Has Irish violins in it.

Also Chicane - Saltwater. Has Irish vocals. And is used in Irish tourism adverts.

Um, Shamrock - Tell Me Ma? Or something like that.

Marco Borsato - De Bestemming (Ferry Corsten Remix)

A bit of celtic feel to it.

DJ Tiesto - A Tear In The Open (one of his best imo and highly underrated)
Spooky - Belong

Yes, it is the monstrosity you're thinking of. And it doesn't feel "celtic" in the least to me.

KarateKid

Actually I guess the remixes of Conjure One - Tears from the Moon (especially the Hybrid one) are kinda celticy. For the simple reason that Sinead o Connor is Irish.

There are several psychedelic trance tunes with celtic music & lyrics .. look on psy-specialized boards too ... last year on a psytrance party in a forest on a full moon night one DJ played a track with a large celtic melody and chorus .. I literally felt on a forest with the Elves !!!
