Thumbs up Unified @ LOVE: HABERSHAM makes his NYC debut with David Josephs & Jason Jollins!!

.

Currently recognized as a leader amongst the new breed of talent that is sweeping the world of electronic music, Habershams inspiring and thought-provoking production work has secured him a role as one of the major artists of the future.

While at the helm of two record labels Blueprint Recordings (www.blueprintsounds.com) and Lobotomy Recordings (www.lobotomyrecords.com) he has managed to create a prolific discography that has appeared on several top-labels including Audio Therapy, Institution Recordings, Music Is Freedom, Acute Recordings, Cure Recordings, Mixturi, M-Theory, and CP Recordings. With all of his hard work he is quickly gaining recognition as a driven individual who's skills are not limited to just producing or DJing.

His original productions and remixes have received heavy support from John Digweed, Dave Seaman, Danny Howells, Hernan Cattaneo, Sander Kleinenberg, Timo Maas, Jason Jollins, Phil K, Jimmy Van M and Jonathan Lisle to name a few. His music has been featured on several Kiss FM as well as Essential Mix radio shows, and can be found on such forthcoming CD compilations as Renaissance presents Therapy mixed by Dave Seaman and Phil K, Bedrock Breaks mixed by Meat Katie, and the critically acclaimed Balance compilation mixed by Phil K.

Stylistically, his DJing and production tastes cross boundaries of house, breaks and progressive music, and fans around the world have come to expect the unique, original Habersham sound. From quirky and funky to deep and minimal; from dark and dirty to twisted and mindfuck, his sound encompasses elements of tech-house, electro, broken beats and emotional soundscapes.

________________________________________

His music has been featured on over eight Kiss FM and Essential Mix radio shows, and can also be found on such CD compilations as Renaissance presents Therapy mixed by Dave Seaman and Phil K, Bedrock Breaks vol. 3 mixed by Meat Katie, the critically acclaimed Balance 004 mixed by Phil K, and Way Out Wests latest album/mix CD, Dont Look Now on Distinctive. No matter the differentiating styles of music you may hear in his production work and DJ sets, there will always be one constant: pushing minds forward and breaking down genre barriers. Conformity: beware.

Every now and then a track comes out which raises the game of its particular 'genre' by a few notches. In my view, Habersham's remix of Pat Foosheen's 'The Unthinkable' has kicked the standard of the more progressive side of break beat through the roof. With the exception of a handful of records by long established producers, this is the best track I have heard in the last two years.
Jon Lisle Bedrock Breaks - 4/27/2004

Habersham shows us why he is the hottest producer of this moment and why he will become one of the biggest names in the near future. Jeroen- XPander.nl 2004

who is coming?!?!

Posted by LuNaSeA on Feb-23-2006 21:52:

me + the ambiguously gay duo (billy & cam)

Posted by Jason Jollins on Feb-24-2006 17:31:

I'm really excited for tonight! It's been a few years now that I have wanted to play alongside Habersham in NYC and it's finally happening.

Habersham is one of the first artists I signed to Acute Recordings signing 4 tracks in 2001. This was of course before he was signed to several major labels, recognized and supported by many of the worlds top dj's, and became an international superstar

If you like a more experimental forward thinking sound that combines minimal, tech house, electro, and a touch of progressive elements then you'll be happy you came to LOVE.

See you guys tonight!
