DJs that were destined to be good and famous, but 'bad habbits' ruined everything.

I have seen many in Pop, Hip Pop and Rock music; where artists were destined to make it big at the scene. But drugs and Alchohol and new found money took the toll in their career.

Are/were there any Trance DJs/Producers whose DJing career was also put to an end due to some circumstances like that?

Or do you see any DJ who is following the path of doomed right now.

He is pretty famous even right now. And by looking at his website and tour dates, he still do have a great career.

I am looking for some names like Ricky Martin and all.... if you see him, his face have drolled, apereance all fuc*ed up and shit. Clearly signs of overdose of something or other. No good albums since World Cup I guess.

I wonder how many DJs would be better if they would do drugs and Alchohol and have new found money

Tiesto's ego, when it go so big that there started a big backlash against him...it really got big after the 2nd time he got to be #1, DJing was like a sport to him..gotta be the best, gotta be number 1! when there were many others who weren't even in the top 5 who were technically better than he was at both production and DJing...plays good tunes! thats the best you can say bout him...but maybe this year he'll get better...and i'll actually want to see him...

We're talking about DJs who would be famous but lost the chance because they made a poor decision. Business-wise, Tisto made excellent decisions and is famous. You're on the wrong subject.

I can't think of anyone off the top of my head, though.

We only know famous DJs, unless theres some crazy good guy that rezzies at your local club but has a problem

I'm sure that anybody from any local scene can name a few people.

Exactly. I think he just lost interest in trance/prog house. And he has been concentrating on his band too.

DJ Jean scratching the melody of PPK - Resurrection. Yup, twas a sad Trance Energy for him. He was actually scratching on the rythm of the melody, in the break of the track. What was he thinking?

Paul Cokenfold also repeats his shirts a lot. He dosent care to spend money on shirts and instead buy drugs. His dressing sense messed him up a lot too.
