Already got Relic Mix Compilation and it's nothing special... But thanks for other recommendations, will check 'em out.

Not really, his sound is better known as Napolitan techno. Of course there are some tribal elements to it, but that goes for almost any type of techno.

He even has made some minimal releases on the Do.Mi.No (which stands for Domestic Minimal Noise) label, which aren't half bad either.

Carola plays mostly minimal now, like most other techno DJs who used to do the loop/perc thingy. Personally, I think the Voices Of Africa-series is some of the worst things Umek has ever done. Same generic perc loop/tribal chant sample-combination that has been done so many times already.

I'd say don't wait TOO long, I've been disappointed by the event being sold out once or twice already (a week or two before the event, that was). I'll happily buy you a ticket when necessary.

Cheers, will let you know if things work out then. I'll talk to my cousin when I get home. Been wanting to see Technasia live for ages (they rarely do live PAs), and I'm always a sucker for techno events where the sound is as varied as this one.
