Arrow Cheesy and Commercial and Vocal and Famous

I have expiremented with a lot of diffferent tracks from various posters on this forum. I usually make it a point to listen to whoever comes up with "This track rocks ... o my god this tune is sooo..." and so on.

I have realised that as far as my taste goes, nothing beats melodious vocal trance. Some may call it cheesy, some may call commercial, some may call it as the doomsday of trance or whatever, but i love them.

They are just too good to listen to anytime. Here are some:

Delerium Featuring Sarah Mclachlan - Silence
Armin Van Buuren - Burned With Desire - (Rising Star Mix)
Motorcycle - As the Rush Comes
Paul Van Dyke - Nothing But You
Paul Van Dyke ft. Wayne Jackson - The Other Side
Perasma - Swing to Harmony
Ian Van Dahl - Secret Love
Nalin & Kane - Beachball
DJ Tiesto - A Tear In The Open
Conjure One - Tears From The Moon (DJ Tiesto Mix)
Dido - You Take My Breath Away (DJ Tiesto Vocal Mix)
Dido - Don't leave home (Gabriel & Dresden remix)
Dido - Sand In My Shoes (Above & Beyond's UV Remix)

The list can just goes on and i love them or have loved them intensely at one point or the other. They have had far more play on my CDJs and on my iPod than Pryda - Aftermath or Solarstone - Solarcoaster and such tracks.

I wanna make sure i haven't missed out on many of them beautiful vocal trances. Many resemble Pop and that's okay. Maybe i like Trance that's close to Pop, that has vocals and that carries a lot of emotions.

I would like to compile a list of tracks like the ones above - vocal and famous. Need your help. Thanks in advance.

Well, there's alot of good, and pretty much of the stuff you listed is good.

Nothing But You is one of the songs that brought me into EDM.

I think I know about the type of records you're talking about

I'll give you a few current/recent Releases you might like.
You mentioned a lot of Tiesto tracks and remixes. How about DJ Tiesto Presents Allure "The Love We Lost"

A song that's finally getting some airplay on US Dance radio is Judge Jules Feat. Marcella Woods "So Special". I recommend the Dallas Superstars Remix. The song has the type of Vocals that were commom in the British Dance scene in the early 90s.

CJ Stone Feat. Tamara Rhodes "City Lights" seems to be a pretty popular vocal record right now, definitely on the mainstream tip. Check out the Tatana Rmx or the Jean Ellan Rmx.

Filo & Perry Feat. Tiff Lacey "Dance With A Devil (DJ Shog Remix)". This song doesn't have too much Vocals, but might be up your alley.

ATB "Summer Rain (132 BPM Mix)", or even try ATB "Believe In Me (DJ Antoine Vs Mad Prive Vocal Mix)"

For a good Housier vocal try Tom Novy Feat. Lima "Take It"

For an all-out super cheesy guilty pleasure type of Euro-Trance record (you'll know what I mean when you hear it) check out Astrada "Just Another Day".

From the past few years try these vocal Trance anthems:
Young Parisians "Jump The Next Train (Kyau Vs. Albert Remix)"
Blank & Jones "Perfect Silence (E-Cragi's 212 Mix)", or Blank & Jones "Mind of the Wonderful"
Andain "Beautiful Things"
Jan Johnston "Am I On Pause"

Oh, and a Vocal track I truly recommend with both a Progressive and Psychedelic edge is Sub 6 Feat. Michel Adamson "7th Son"

Only track I see in there that might be cheese based on the artist IMO is Ian Van Dahl's track.. but I've never heard it so can't entirely comment ... the rest are just vocal... IMO vocal does not = cheese

One of the greatest vocal tracks I've heard, and one of my favorite trance tracks, period. Good call.
