agnelli and nelson

Hey
So these guys are performing at a club 5 mins walk away from my house. I know of the name but cant remember any of the tracks they done.
I have never been to a trance night before or even heard trance played at a venue as most nights are just crap. Do you think this will be a good one to see as my first trance event?

My favorite is "Everyday"

One of their most well known track is holding onto nothing, but i have no recollection of having heard so many great tracks from them. Can anyone tell me if i am wrong?

They are nowadays... starting from around Holding On To Nothing most of their productions have been awful. Didn't use to be that way though

El Nio
Everyday
Holding on To Nothing
Don't Give Up Remix

This is the main things by Agnelli & Nelson that I've always liked.

Posted by Jackson on Feb-26-2006 18:50:

Ive been told its 7 in advance + ? on the door
Worth going to?

Posted by djthunderbird on Feb-26-2006 18:53:

my favourite track from them is 'embrace' I just love those long melodies.. The video was quite nice too..

Hudson St is also very good and I agree that after Holding On To Nothing their production quality went seriously downhill.. sad actually

Posted by Shafteh on Feb-26-2006 19:33:

I know Agnelli's cousin.. (just thought i'd drop that in )

anyway, ive seen them maybe 4 or 5 times and they've been good anytime ive seen them, one of the times was at Gatecrasher in Belfast, where they played a class set dropping in tunes like Rank 1 - Airwave, and Loops and Things...

Holding onto Nothing, is my favourite production that they've done.

Just go.

If, afterwards, you think it was shit, it can only get better in the future.
If, afterwards, you think it was good, well, then it's good.

Besides, seven quid isn't that much, worth the risk I think.

I would go in a heartbeat. Their tracklists for livesets look quite nice usually. They are excellent producers. Some remixes don't suite my tastes, but Rio Klein - Fearless (Agnelli and Nelson remix) is a favorite of mine. They may not have produced as many tracks as many other known names in the industry, but imo the ones they have that are good are stunning.

hudson street and vegas are my faves by them

Posted by RebeL9 on Feb-27-2006 04:42:

Hudson Street is their best by faaaar.
Runner up is Northpole under their Afterburn guise.

Not the biggest fan of their productions but they are awesome dj's. They usually only play a few of their remixes and productions in their sets anyway. Saw them last August and it was one of the most enjoyable nights I have been to. They really know how to interact with the crowd, and you can tell they absolutely love what they are doing... Chris Agnelli especially, he really gets into it

I'd recommend seeing them for sure, you won't be disappointed

yes, thats hardly much really is it
go and enjoy

To the thread poster, yes, absolutely go. I would pay much more for the opportunity.

I think Everyday still bests the rest of their work. Just such a pure example of the '99 spirit, certainly moreso than El Nio, imo. It still makes me want to get up and go nuts.

Holding On To Nothing is quite good as well, along with North Pole. I like Embrace and Summer Sun, but they seem to have less widespread appeal.

I saw em In leicester for 2005 NYE, mate its the perfect oppotunity to experience a trance night for the first time, they will introduce you in to it well i think.

Who else is playing and when/where is this at Im in Worcestershire and might chek it out, guess it was prob the weekend js gone?
