ASOT Rankings - Best ASOT of all time.
My personal favorites are:
Episode 206, 208, 216 & 218.
Whats yours?
Also is their any place where I can get reveiws and ranking for ASOTs seulment.
I demand a recount.
No seriously - get episodes 1 - 50 and find out what all the fuss is about before making wild statements about the episodes you mentioned.
1-100
Agree with Chris and I still would like to recommend you that Ferry Corsten Special, Episode 58. That's the things I remember, but still, Check out episode 1-100.
saying the 200+ episodes are the best ASOT's shows you didn't listen to the show before.. the reason being that the 1-100 episodes were MUCH, and I mean MUCH better.
there used to be a chatroom and stuff where he would talk while he was mixing the tunes live (live.. not premade on ableton). As well, there used to be 600% more uplifting tunes played.
100-200 the episodes slowly declined in quality.. and now we're at the current sad state of the show.
cut the elitist crap man. if the style he digs was found in the 200 episodes then let it be, thats what appeals to him. sheeeeeeehs.
for me, any XXL is fine
for me it has to be episode 200XXL, its got alot of my fave tracks in it.
that wasn't really elitist... it was just true.
Furthermore, someone who has only heard the 200+ is simply not qualified to make any statements regarding the best ASOT's of "ALL TIME"... think about it
I'd probably go for something along the lines of asot 035
00 - 70
90 XXL with M.I.K.E.
134 XXL with Ben Lost
159 XXL
182
183
200 XXL
hmmmm....good question..

They were all like "OMG TUNE BUT I CANT ID IT! ALL HAIL J00F!!!"
Then the J00fboard raided the thread, IDed all of Johns tunes and were proclaimed gods by the ASOT crowd

I always liked when they were lazy and just played live shows that he did recently. My favorite was A State of Trance, episode 119.
Recorded from: 76 Tour North America, Live At RA Club, Las Vegas, USA (03-10-08).
Other than that, the only asot I still have on my computer is 125, great tunes on that one. Unfortunately I didnt find ASOT until around 90 or so, so I didnt have the pleasure of the older ones.
Here's a good site to check out the tracklists of ASOT: http://digilander.libero.it/asotpla...20ASOT%20220%20(05-10-27)
i have a link for a torrent of episode 1-25, i dunno if i can post it.
98 and 208 for me.
