Drum and Bass

does anyone know some good artists? i just got into drum and bass and i love it. I got some grooverider which is pretty good.

sounds like pretty much all the best have already been named, here's some more "necessity" dnb that hasn't been named yet:

Adam F, AK1200, Aphrodite, Aquasky, Big Bud (if you like Bukem, check him out too), Calyx, Cause 4 Concern, Concord Dawn, Decoder & Substance, Dj DB, Dj Fresh (of Bad Company), Dj Zinc, E-Sassin, Freaky Flow, Goldie, J Majik, Klute, Kosheen (the decoder remixes are the best), Matrix, Panacea, PhD (also from Bukem's label), PFM (from Bukem's label - older stuff), Ram Trilogy, Stakka & Skynet, Teebee, Total Science.

But at the end of the day my personal fav's are Aphrodite, Concord Dawn, Calyx, Decoder, Dieselboy, Dj DB, Dj Hype, EZ Rollers, Goldie, J Majik, John B, LTJ Bukem, Teebee, Total Science.

Also, if you don't mind having your tastes challenged, artists like Aphex Twin, Squarepusher and Hrvatski often fall under the dnb umbrella. They just go a little more all-out with glitches and drum edits.

i saw john b spin live a few months back, it was bad as hell.
i'm waiting for another studio album too, hopefully more dnb than electro though, his live set was all dnb

My best bud is a DnB DJ so I hear some good stuff that I like from time to time. Check out tracks by Psidream. In particular, check out the track by them called Solar Waves. I love that track.
