Congrats Global Vibe and SCG! what a night! that back room couldn't have been more packed. the vibe, the beats, everything was tons of fun.
So michelle comes to get me early, like 8:00 and we head to the club. um, never been there that early with the lights on and everyone running around getting ready for the night, kinda weird. definitely like clubs better with the lights low.
anyways, michelle and i go back to her car to finish our cocktails and some crackhead asks us if were transvestites!!!! LOL, i know i'm no girly, girl but shit, didn't know i looked like a guy.
so 9:00 finially gets there and the first 2 guys go on and they have the tough job of starting the night but definitely roll out some nice trance tracks. up to the loft michelle and i go to get the first of 3 very strong ernesto cocktails. ( completely faded by the end of the night). we make our way around the club with like no one in the main room and just a few outside. still early. back to the backroom and it's starting to collect more people.
then up goes gil and lays down a very nice trance set. by then the place is getting packed and people are just dancing their asses off. me too but getting so faded by this time that parts of the night, not so clear after this. damn ernesto and those drinks!
so many TA's that i can't even begin to list but a ton were in attendance to have a fun and support. great hanging outside with so many as well when i needed a breather.
Robert's up after gil and i must say, armada is keeping him a secret! let him out to play more pleaes! such a great set. gonna have to wait for others to id tracks b/c well, ya know it's me and i can't. 
bob finishes us off and i have to say, very fine job!!!! i really loved his set, was banging out some nice hard tracks that had the floor packed until the bitter end. as i told you at afterhours bob, i really enjoyed your set.
i must say that the TA community in LA has got to be one of the most supportive and engergetic group of people out there. everytime TA's host the backroom, be it ksky, lost episode, global vibe and scg and i'm sure a couple others i'm forgetting, TA's come out and give their whole hearted support. and we do it b/c we love the vibe that these groups bring into the club and the massive talent they have. these boards host some of the finest djs, imo, out there and we love, love, love to dance to your beats. so thank you to the host of the night last night, global vibe and scg and to all the other djs here, your talent is so appreicated and we love what you do.
so then michelle and i get in her car and thank God we make it to bob's (we shouldn't have done that michelle, we are so fired for driving) but we make it and enter the official afterhours to find wall to wall people and almost no where to sit. 
i could not believe how many people were there and so many djs taking turns behind the decks. thanks mike for jumping up there and giving me a little bit of your shit! good stuff. robert stern, my man, getting so good, before long you will be behind the decks at spundae. thanks for dropping all my favorite tracks. the party was going strong until atleast 7 am this morning until only the diehards were left. i can't believe i was still dancing and drinking beer(breakfast of champions) at 8 am! so much fun dancing with michelle, julie and malia! and eric so great hanging with you and checking out your photos, dude very talented! and wow, colleen was there, she is awsome! i know philippe was happy.
thanks gil for the ride home. crawled into bed at 9:30 am exhausted but so happy. such a great night and the vibe and tracks were so great. so great seeing all the TA's, you know who was there, again way too many to list. thanks lisa for the world's best hugs, dan you are a lucky man. mmmmm, barley remember eating a quesidilla but damn those things are the best.
okay, great night, so much fun, the back room was packed, super vibe, great tunes and phenominal friends! and thank you so much michelle for driving and everything last night! love ya girl.
No way I can add anything to this review other then that. Sarah is spot on, what a great night in the backroom and the REAL afterhour power @ DJ Bob's

OK, so what if I'm biased?
Q: When was the last time that the main room shut down around 3:35 due to a lack of patrons and/OR that the back room kept going fully packed PAST 4:00?
A: I don't know. The only DJ I've ever seen allowed to go past 4:00 is Armin. Never anyone in the back room. So Bob_Motamedi definitely has to be a winner! Excellent set too 
DJ Bob should never be asked to open a night because he can't play what he does when he's at his best

The backroom was the place to be at Spundae last night. I made rounds around the club about every 20-30 minutes and at no time was any other room more packed and fun.
Congrats goes to the hardest working, and hottest promoter that I know of, Sweetcandy-Girl! You give so many people the oppurtunity to enjoy great music and have fun. Thank you for everything you do, you a gift to the world!
I got there early to get everything setup for the night. Highlight for me was testing out the system before anyone got there. So nice to have 1000's of watts of power at your fingertips. I love the back room sound!
Dj Kyo and Dj Ray open it up, and get it going. It took a little bit for people to get in to Spundae. They definately showed up tho. It seemed to me that once Gil got on, within 10 minutes the crowd in the back room more than doubled. Gil was amazing. Opened up with Shadow World (Thank you Thomas Bronzwaer!!) As always, Gil had fantastic energy and managed to pull the biggest crowd I have ever seen in the back room. I have never had such a hard time walking through there. What a great way to get the night pumpimg! Gil you are and always will be Superstar to me! Gil hands over the decks to Armada's Robert Nickson. Robert continues the great music. Playing a lot of tracks I am unfamilar with. Armada, nice! Great set and can't wait to hear more. At this time I see Bob getty ready, and am very anticpating to see what he is going to play. Even though I live with him, he kept his set a secret from me..
Damn!!! Bob killed it! Amazing set, just kept getting better and better. Bob even got that crowd back up to full capacity. By far the best set I have ever seen Bob lay down. All the mixes were dead on and the new headphones worked great, I would say! What a great way to close out a fantastic night. Spundae even closed down the main room early, which I have never seen. AJ Morris got to close out the main room, He was laying it down pretty nice too! AJ you rock.
The afterparty, well you had to of been there. A whole lot of fun. At least 8-10 DJ's in the house and even a great Vocalist!
Global Vibe Entertainment and Sweetcandy-Girl.com! That's all the needs to be said!
Can't wait for what's next!

But I do have say that it was nice formally meeting Thrax and seeing my Angel...I haven't seen you in sooo long. Also Philippe, it was nice seeing you. Can't wait to have lunch together.

I completely agree with everything everyone has shared so far... I can't even find a little emoticon that expresses how happy I was to see all of you last night. It was an extraordinary night for TAs at Spundae!
I have to congratulate Bob on his STELLAR performance last night. The energy in that back room at 4am was absolutely incredible... I'm so glad I was able to be there to experience it.
Okay, time for some freaking SLEEP already!

I first want to point out that Global Vibe Entertainment is a group effort. Bob, Mike and I worked really hard to put this one together. Even with an all most last minute Headliner Change we still pulled it off.
Also we could have not done this event with out the love and support of everyone who came. With out you guys this event would have not been a great success. So from the bottem of my heart I thank you all.

Dj Kyo vs Dj Ray- Thank you so much for driving down from Sf and playing at our event. You guys started right at 9pm when no other rooms have even started yet. I know it is hard to open but you guys did a Great job in your set and getting the energy going.
Gil La- Since I first saw you spin you have improved so much. Once you got on the decks last night people from the middle of no where came and packed the back room! It was amazing. I love your energy behind the decks and how you involve everyone in the crowd. You set last night was so so so good. Your skills have gone past opening.
Robert Nickson- Thank you so much for comming to play at the last minute. I agree with Sarah on this one. You are Armada's hidden like Secret. Not only are you a amazing Dj.. but also an amazing producer as well. You set last night was amazing! I really enjoyed it. I hope to see your name on more flyers around the world.
Dj Bob - WOW! You set last night was probly one of the best I heard you play out. I agree with Robert Stern. You should not be opeing for Heaven any more. Last night you got to play and be "you" and show case your ture tallents. you have come a long way as well. I am so proud of you I think in a first time in my Spundae history they closed the main room down early. And you where the only one still playing. It was Great seeing that room packed untill past 4am WOOT WOOT!! Thanks again for also hosting another After Party.
Philippe- I wanted to thank you again for letting me tag a long to Santa Monica peir with Robert and Elsa. I know we had to wait over and hour to eat lunch... but I had so much fun rideing on the rollercoster and Hooping. WEEE!!
Collen Kelly and Elsa- Thank you for comming out and showing your support. It was so great having 2 amazing singers in the crowd last night
LaTa's- Sarah, Kirs, Riia, Michelle, Drew, Robert Stern,Chris, Mike Lord, Mike S, Bjorn, Philippe, approxamilla, Andy, Shooting Star, Leanne, and any one else I forgot. Thank you so much for comming.
