Jester Sex Pistols decline R'n'R invite...!

hehe.. funny stuff.

quote:
Punk rocks pioneering brats, The Sex Pistols, have politely declined to appear at the ritzy soiree that was to include their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Well okay, maybe it wasnt so polite. In true Pistols fashion, the boys said 'bollocks' to the March 13th dinner and performance at New Yorks Waldorf Astoria hotel in a scrawled, grammatically-incorrect message on their website

The statement from the groundbreaking English punksters, whose Never Mind The Bollocks, Heres The Sex Pistols is considered one of the most important and influential albums ever released, went on to slam Hall of Fame voters as "music industry people."

Among the other artists to be inducted in 2006 Black Sabbath, Blondie, Miles Davis, Lynyrd Skynyrd and industry executives Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss.

Officials with the Hall of Fame didnt seem surprised by the Pistols putdown.

"Theyre being the outrageous punksters that they are, and thats rock n roll," said executive director Susan Evans.

apparently each recipient gets two free tickets...and additional ones cost money.

so they're probably pissed that they have to pay for their unnecessary entourage.

weak...they are not very "punk" or "outragreous" anymore...it's kind of sad to listen to them now, lol.
