Wrapster format ?

guys what is the wrapster format ? i always see things like "this mp3 is in wrapster format" and i never knew what it was ... can someone explain to me please ? thanks

wrapster format... you use the program "wrapster" to change the .mp3 or whatever you wanna share into the wrapster format that way you do the search on "Napster" and you're able to download it...cuz if its in wrapster format its probably blocked. thats the best I can explain.

It's a special archive the only purpose of which is to let u transfer things other than mp3 audio files through Napster. As u know, Napster doesn't allow anything that doesn't have the .mp3 extension. But who said that other formats couldn't be converted to mp3?? A Wrapster MPEG file is just a compressed archive that contains files of various types. Wrapster also makes it visible for Napster, so u can treat such a file as a usual MPEG Layer 3. I said 'visible' because if u try to rename a file to .mp3 by your own, Napster will not except it 'caz real mp3s have additional (service) data that Napster uses to tell them from fake ones. That's why u need Wrapster...
