New to Miami, but not the music!!!

Hello, everybody!!! MAN IT IS GOOD TO BE AMONGST FELLOW VAN DYK DISCIPLES!!!

A bit about me: 22, male, Favorite DJs--> PvD, Tiesto, Christopher Lawerence, Scott Kaiser (Jax, FL.. good friend), and Taucher. Into the really uplifting, spiritual trance as well as breaks. Clubbing for past 2 1/2 years. Best event ever was Ultra 3, last March. I really dig European influence... ESPECIALLY THE PROMISED LAND---> Ibiza (planning on going there summer after this). If you know anything about Ibiza, surely you'll agree.

I've been to Space, Liquid, and Level so far and like Space the best. At this point, I am in awe of the power Miami has to offer and am itching at each opportunity to indulge in my musical appetite. I go to school and work, but I always find time and desire.

So thats me in a nutshell. I hope to meet some of you with similar interests and motivation on the dancefloor someday. It's weird cos' everyone I know at school and work have grown up here and aren't motivated to go out... EVER! And I see you people are obviously on a different ship. Laters

glad to see you have so much enthusiasm! i wish i could share it.... heheh.... the clubbing scene has died down here IMO.... the only half-decent club we have left is Space, and they only play trance when a major trance-DJ is in town.... so... when Shadow Lounge died, so did trance on SoBe. Now i just stay home and spin.... more fun, doesn't cost anything, and no attitudes.

We do TA picnics every once in awhile though, (which i think is more than any other TA locale does....)

I must say I am feeling the positive vibes, people. I live in Kendall (SW Miami) and my name is Mike. My 2 intitials are both M, so I am more commonly know as M-Squared... at least I was back in NC

As far as this weekend, I'm not sooo sure. Scott Bond will be at Space and I hear good things about him, so my hunger grows. However, I REALLY am making it a point to be as set as POSSIBLE for Ultra/WMC 2002. Therefore saving all my money for whatever comes that week. *crosses fingers at the idea of a foam party*. I was at Ultra last year, but went to it alone while visiting. This year I want to be ready for the WHOLE week and I know the clubs will be pricy! Hopefully, we all can meet soon though. I would like to meet some people who have as much passion for "la music tremenda" as I do.
