Legitimate FL Studio serial question (fully registered and authentic, not pirated)
Okay, here's the thing...
I am a 100% legit user of FL Studio (i.e. it's fully registered and authentic) but I've lost both my original serial number and login password for the 'My FL Studio' section of the website. Which I want to gain access to for the new tutorials they have.
So far FL tech support have told me they need the original serial in order for them to send the password information, which poses a bit of a problem.
Apps like Recycle and Soundforge bring up the serial when you click on the 'About' heading in the 'Help' menus of the software, FL Studio doesn't. But I was still wondering if it was in the program anywhere.
Obviously I hope to get this sorted out one way or another through tech support, if all else fails but I was hoping there might be a serial lurking around in the software so I can just send it to them and get my password sooner rather than later.
Just to be clear I am not after a crack, patch or fake serial of any kind. I intend to sort this problem in a legitimate way (considering I paid for the program, lifetime free updates etc. I'd be a fool to do it any other way). But as I said, the reason I am posting is to try to speed the process of getting my website password again a bit quicker.
Any help appreciated.
Well if you registered an account I would assume the will have your real name in their database.
And if you remember WHERE you bought the program, you could always hunt down an invoice. Most online stores keep records of your purchases.
They really should help you out if you really own it. Seem silly since you probably used a credit card to buy it, and we all know how we're attched to those 16 digit numbers in today's world.
Keep bugging them. They'll give in and help you eventually.

Next to the flstudio sign in the top left habd corner you should see your personal username eg JASONROBERTS9------ ect just email them that. Also you not got the email they sent you with your details? Or what about the regcode?
Check your windows registry. I'm rather sure FL keeps the reg-codes from your installation in there.
Start > run > "regedit" > OK > and then use the "find" to find the fl studio folder.
Yeah, you can probably find it in the registry. Or in an .ini/.dat file in the program folder.
....and I'm in
I found the password in the registry like you suggested. I suppose I don't need the serial if I have these 2 and I know where to look if I lose them in the future
I'll get to viewing those tutes now.
Many thanks, guys
