review:

Can't sleep. Damn drugs.

The samples are very tight sounding for the most part. Percussion and etc.

I'm not sure I like your string synth all that much. Sounds a little cheesy.

This is a very groovy track.

1.52 ahhhh subtractor? or am I totally off. Sounds pretty gewed. Cool vocal pad effects blend well.

Added another perc element at 2.22 I'm not sure what it is. But it's pretty good. So far this build is interesting sounding.

Strings. Hmm work on stings.

SNARE ROLL!

My favorite part of you track it the bassline. I really think that needs little improvement. The percussion seems very solid. I'm not sure this track is my styler persay. But it's very good.

Keep it up.

jeeze this is loud! the kick suits the track. maybe a bit more highs on it tho.

i can hear emotion in this. bass is a bit much. nice but needs to be lowered ever so slightly.

and fade it out at the 1.54 mark.

1'54 - break. this is quite nice.

drum roll

yea definately the bass is a bit loud.

great work. doesnt stand out to me that much but i can imagine this being played by a fair few dj's.

i think the best part is the minimal bit from 3.40 mark. i love it without the synth lead. just with the choirs etc.

maybe a dub could be done

i have reduced the sound of the bass ( though i cant feel much difference on my head phone )

Liking the vocal effects in the break.

Yeh, I think your bass is still a tad bit loud.

Both times your snare roll seems kind of obligatory. It's not there to create tension in this case, it's just there because it's "supposed" to be there. That should never happen. Try to find a more effective way of building tension.

errr...that snare roll is now creating more tension in my mind!

any good ideas to overcome it..?

hey ho, well judging by the name i expected filth, dirt but got this little ear friendly tune instead. the bass is a tad high for me (or was) but this kind of things arent my cup of tea if you know what i mean . great work with the perc's though.. goody !

great work

Hey...

Atmospheric stuff, its really calm and the sounds work well together. The pluck sound a 2:10 is a pretty standard sound but works well here. The snare rolls could have some rhythmic variations, or they could be doubled with the kick... and its always a good idea to use for example a swoosh or some other kind of effect sound at the same time. The bass line is really good...

Cheers, Lakeus
