It's all Gone Pete Tong

I seen the movie but have never heard of Frankie Wilde. I thought it was based on a true story? maybe it is just with different character names? Someone help me!

mockumentary

I went to the screening in NYC @ Union Square 14th Street where the directors and the main character (Franke Wilde) held a QA after the show. It is a mockumentary!

Are you really so naive that you always believe everything you see in a movie? Frankie Wilde is just a made up character and doesn't relate to an actual person, not directly anyway. If a movie like this says "based on a true story" it doesn't necessary mean it actually bases on something.. but it might also have been made as a parody for movies which actually base on some "true stories".

Anyways, THIS thread might give you some answers.
