sounds good!!

what way did you put them notes in at?

Posted by mysticalninja on Mar-03-2006 02:26:

i havent heard the original but it sounds good to me.. how did you get those pauses in the delay? or is there even delay? and how did you get it to sound like the notes go in reverse right before they start.. is it right timing on reverb predelay?

nah that could be done why better with software. this sound is very thin and digital. you should try to use some more eq to loose the extremely digital artefacts from reason..

Seriously, when will people stop complaining about Reason?
Sure, it sounds a little thin (could be EQd better maybe), but I don't hear any "digital artefacts".

seriously, i don't complain about reason. just about the sample.. i have here a sample which is done with reason only! i didn't do it as i'm no reason user but it should show just what could be done..

I'm just so tired of people making up crap about Reason and its sounds engine. I just assumed you were doing the same, sorry.

Basically it's a commpressor on reversed reverb There is some delay , too ...

Yeah I'd have to agree with thecYrus on this one. The sound is very digital sounding. The effects are done nicely on the sound, but the actual sample could sound better. Good job though

sounds very much like rvdb sunset track, ya good job, ron van den beuken uses cubase and access virus c to make that sound

I'va also tried to recreate this sound in the past.
I share with you my attempt : http://s48.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=...PI37US5OHFLHXP4

And this is a sample of the original : http://s61.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0DJCT0ZFPNXY728B6XIX5A2CLJ

hey mate,

nice one! but in your recreation is too much white noise. beside that the lead is almost spot on.

made with FM7?

Posted by everyMan on Mar-04-2006 11:17:

How did you guess ?? Yes it's FM7 with Fruity FX's
maybe too much white noise you're right !

Gosh I need to get better at synth programming.

It impresses me how you guys can just open up FM7 or some other synth and toy with it until you can get something sounding similar.

Bah. I need more practice.

*pouts*

Use the RV7000 with "reverse" algorithm, add Commpressor... with right settings :P

Are there any other VST's that have a reverse reverb preset, that work outside of Reason?
